All Blacks v Argentina II

What I loved: didn’t want a bar of playing with the ball in our own half. It was gone. For a team lacking in cohesion it got them playing in the right end of the field. And the. Some really good tries off the back of it. The negative side of it all though, we still didn’t really see any dominating, advantage line forward runs until the 2nd half after all the subs came on.
YC was BS and we all know it and it was that man again MJ in the TMO box that put yet another AB in the bin for nowt.
The 2nd half went to dog shit but I don’t think it was “lost”.
SA can’t wait to run over the top of us.

It was an absolutely stone-cold Yellow Card and it would have been for the last ten years in any Rugby Union game officiated by a European ref.
You can't go high and anywhere near the head and expect to stay on the field. I've seen dozens of those given.
The players in the Irish National side have learned how to never, ever do that. Some of the AB squad still need to learn.

Really good from the starting XV apart from Reiko Ioane
Habullshit.
Or shall we just ignore the lack of change out wide for Argentina, the extra space out wide for black, the fuck all line breaks and turnovers in the midfield?

- Mighty Williams was great, could be a signature game. Looked like he belonged
- Vaai and Darry surprised how quickly they have adjusted to test rugby. Doing great
- Ardie did ardie things, needs to link when necessary. Leg drive is amazing
- Great game from TJ but still think Ratima should be starting.
- Criticism of DMac last week totally unjustified. He didn't have a forward pack last week
- Attacking dinks are great, defensive dinks are not
- Fast wings make a difference even in the wet.
- JB is great when composed like this week. Again had some forwards this week
- Our scrum is a weapon and you haven't been able to say that very often

Vaai
Yeah man, really quick, only took him 3 years! Finally having one decent game after that short period he might be an absolute legend in as soon as 9 years.
-
Darry and Vaai as a collective.
I knew a missile would be coming -
You have to admit Vaai has found his feet and is enjoying it. Knows he can do it now.
Love his verbals and grin -

I knew a missile would be comingI'm just not sure about the validity of giving Vaai props for Darry stepping up.

Love his verbals and grinIt's one game where he actually stepped up (and not really as a lock), reel it in a bit.
-
Vaai was MOM material today
-
Vaii's best game as an All Black.
Long term I think he is a 6 who can play Lock, rather than the other way around.
-
Bones he doesn't just lean in the scrum you know.

It was tighthead going up most of the time wasn't it?
-
Give up while you're not ahead

Should probably look at whether Eden park should host tests if they're gonna be that far short of capacity when it's a sure thing.
