Whole backline looks subpar, especially 9, 11, 12, 14. Pretty bad performance, lucky to be ahead. Va'ai looking good again is nice.

ALB has also been hit and miss. Two costly defensive lapses, one leading to a try. Finished a good try though and made a good break.

Half Time All Blacks 20 Argentina 15.

The ABs look mediocre to be honest.

That was a fast half. Feels like it just started. ABs have been terrible, hardly any of the forwards can bend the line and TJ just needs to piss off up north right now. This team is a shadow of what we saw in last year's RWC and SA look to have stepped up from last year. Not looking forward to the tour of SA.

The negativity here is a laugh.

Fowards have been good, lineouts looking strong... Darry looks good.
    Loosies looking better too.

TJ should not get back on the field..
The backs outside him are not to blame...they are getting slow ball from good rucks...

Mate it’s been a shit show. We are beating the Argies by 5. Highly disjointed crap.

I don't think we have a gauge of how good the Boks are ... they were playing the Wobs. 🙂

Argentina are tenacious, but let's not kid ourselves that they are in the same class as South Africa, Ireland or France.

    Lots to worry about.

    Halftime thoughts

    Darry impressive

Perenara is a waste. Move on.

Neither wing offer enough. Clarke and Jordan next test please

Savea needs to add a hell of a lot more. Would rather see Sititi out there at this rate.

I didn't realise the style of play that Razor was going to bring was going to resemble fozzie ball so closely 🧐

Stephen Jones preparing basketball diatribe. TJ looks to be on his farewell tour. Just slows everything down. They’d be better off with the ginger bloke. ABs not respecting the opposition. Course of the Caketin continues. Forwards looking good, however, particularly Darry. Bring on Ratima and the whole game will change.

How is Nisbett still commentating? In the first half he called Darry a debutant and said ALB's last start was against Uruguay in the RWC.

I really don’t like our game plan, it reminds me of the early 2000’s Wallabies, recycle recycle and recycle and wait for a gap in the defence - hence why we have all these similar, smaller more mobile loose forwards.

I’d fucking love to see a couple of forwards crashing into the defence at a million miles an hour instead of getting it flat footed.

@Canes4life I worked for WCC. I don't think the job market has changed that much in the last decade.

Ummmmmmm, this is not one of your finest posts bro.

    Really good point.

Our carriers all take the ball standing still. It's same as foster era, fucking look at Ireland, that's how you play

Darry's a work horse that for sure.

But where are the ball carriers?

No ...it really hasn't... fwds have been good, lineouts much improvemed

The disjointed crap is largely due to slow crappy service from TJ, ... Runners can't predict him so stand and wait...so no go fwd... from fwds or backs as a result

Just watch the momentum shift when TJ goes...

Hopefully Razor brings on Aumua, Sititi, Ratima and Jordan early in the second. We need a lift in tempo.

    I think tonight speaks volumes.

Nothing to do with the job market though

Given how halfbacks are used, I much prefer Ratima finishing the game than Perenara. Not that TJP isn’t frustrating at times, but I can see what the strategy is there.

I don’t think it’s being conservative having a wet behind the ears halfback entrusted to close out a test match.

    Yeah, nah.
