How is that straight? It's a simple thing to get right as a ref - outside shoulder is the big signal.

Yeah that was crooked as hell.

@antipodean yep, thier pre-season game it seemed that way.

Which is good to have other styles challenging things, for so long we had largely 1 style

I still don’t see why our best distributing centre is playing on the wing.

That was beautiful by Wellington. Clarke in the corner.

Auckland seem to not have a defence.

Numia off after being on limited mins.

@antipodean haven’t noticed Julian Savea. But yeah they are going well. Still would rather our best 12 plays 12.

Who the fudge is the defence coach for the Blues? Their backs are waving players through like they're all Aaron Mauger clones.

That looks like offside to me. Ball bounced off Lauaki and PUJ picked it up again.

It didn’t look right did it. I expected the ref to blow his whistle.

Lakai had some decent pass on that first try.

Nah. The loosies need to take some ownership of that area. JGP should not be ledlft to his own to manage a no8 taking it from rhe back.

@SouthernMann seeing that again that was Kirifi’s fault. That was his man.

What was he even doing? Just stood up and looked around. Ioane ran right by him.

Kirifi had the initial job and Lakai's role was to follow and wrap the man. There is no way a no8 should be able ro wander past an openside and no8 off the back.
