    Don’t understand Cane’s selection

Yeah. So they'd rather give an outgoing player a swansong RC instead of bringing Hoskins in to see if they can work with him to get him up to speed for the future

Brilliant squad well done the selectors.

I’ll sleep better knowing Havilli is finally there to cover 10

    Me too it’s a relief.

I'm beyond thrilled that they've dumped the Antichristie, however that's tempered by the wtf selection of Havili. Is there another player whose career has been so kissed on the dick?

    Cane's fans didn't like him a

Not as I remember it. But he was behind Coles and Aumua. And he wa sobviously a big step down esp back then

He struggled at the Blues but this year be really stepped up. And if there were injuries and either bell or RR to start. RR for me

@Winger so you’re not on his side. Are you not supporting the All Blacks now.

Im not on his side in this area, I hope, like Hnery did with Rush, he stops the pro Crusader nonense. Otherwsie we will end up with an an almost all Crusader team starting if the Crusders ever win again.

Well not many players invest their own $$ to go and do a training camp over in Aus while most other players are on holiday in their off-season. Love literally hasn’t stopped training since the end of Super rugby last year.

A bunch of other players were playing Test rugby after Super season finished...

Indeed. I hope Love turns into a fine test player, I like the look of him far more than Perofeta overall but the constant “big upping” of Canes players on here gets tiresome.

…..and I’m as proud a Wellingtonian as it’s possible to be.

Up until now, the answer to that question was Christie

Possibly harsh. Not the most exciting or dynamic of players, certainly not compared to JC, Kaino, Flavell etc. But four different AB coaches selected him and I’m willing to bow to their knowledge and accept when it came to doing shit work there were none better at the time.

Thought he took his demotion by GH with class and worked his way back into the side to become a useful member of the team

    No Akira Ioane.
    No Hoskins Sotutu.

Two huge talents massively wasted. Shame on the selectors.

Yeah I don’t remember any big hits or storming runs but in terms of doing the grunt work so the other loosies could shine he did a sterling job ( I’m assuming, he had an apt nickname )

In saying that I’m sure Richie would nominate JC or Kaino as the best he played with in his era.

He was known as the suitcase back in the day IIRC. On account of the fact his team had to carry him... I wasn't a fan, but he was your classic grifter in the tight

Razor could end the chatter by picking them both for the squad...

@Winger the idiot brigade out again. Give it a rest. It’s getting boring.

Where did the Crusaders finish up this year?

There's obvious bias. Even most (but obviosuly not all) Crusaders should be able to see this

That could be asking the impossible

Robertsons a fool really. All he had to do is not make any dubious Crusaders selections and everyone would have been on his side as the man.

To defend him just a tad (and I'm not defending the selection of DH, will wait to be surprised on that one) on the Fern almost every selection is contentious.
