Yes, Spain are the real sleeping giants of the rugby world. They lost a lot of experienced guys after the World Cup debacle too so they're still really in a rebuilding phase.
If Spain were in Georgia's position (e.g. bagging a few wins against tier-one opposition) then you would have to think that the Six Nations would be seriously considering them for expansion given their economy, location, popularity etc. An away day in Madrid or Barcelona? Heck yeah.
Why are people so invested in meddling with the 6N?
Genuine question
If 6N see a good commercial opportunity then they'll jump on it. It's what they did when France and Italy came calling.
Personally I have no issues with the 6N staying as it is, as long as the 6N teams are willing to play European sides from outside the 6N too.
Wales already do
Scotland playing Portugal and Italy playing Georgia in November

Spain, Georgia, Portugal....why not grab another team or two and start a 5 nations?
Kick Italy out of the 6N, rope in Romania and they can have the Sprig Nations

@MiketheSnow spic?

I'd imagine the Dutch team have a good lineout.

Probably not really in their interests but the most obvious way to grow rugby in Europe would be for the six nations to add some extra divisions and introduce promotion/relegation.
I'd like to see the Rugby Championship do that too but Africa and South America are quite far from NZ and OZ

Now it would be rather "Kick Wales out of the 6N" as Italy > Wales.

Not quite all Nth Hemisphere rugby, but the Portugal-Boks game is showing some serious talent on display from both sides. Portugal getting mullered, but showing great ambition and skills and making the Boks fight. Their winger and 10 look real talents.
Hollie Davidson having a good game as Ref. Bit nervous to start with settled into match well.

Eddie is well past his use by date, let alone best before
The fact that he keeps getting coaching gigs is Rugbys biggest joke, not to mention his game show host schtick which was last funny in about 2003. Time to retire.

Rugby is just copying football with the managerial merry go round
Apparently it’s better to have the ‘lived experiences & wisdom’ of a failed international coach over a successful up & coming coach who hasn’t proved themselves beyond club or regional level

Shit
Lucky he didn’t just leave us
Get well soon
Arrhythmia is a weird one. You can go years without it bothering you in the slightest.
Great to hear he’s planning on playing on.
