All Blacks coach Scott Robertson said it would be confirmed on Monday whether Perenara would be available for the match at Eden Park next Saturday night.
"If you asked TJ he's great. He's woken up in awesome condition, but we will scan him this afternoon,'' Robertson said on Sunday morning.
"I hope it is one of those ones that looked worse than it actually is. We will definitely know tomorrow morning. But we have got plans in place if he's not right.''
Blindside flanker Samipeni Finau, who was replaced by Tupou Vaa'i in the second half, required a head injury assessment but Robertson stated he would be available for selection.

Can't see too many non-injury enforced changes to be honest. Potentially a couple of changes on the bench.
Big thing last night was discipline ... no cards ( did we even get a warning?) I am picking that was one of the big focuses
I thought the bench worked well and we certainly were on top once both benches emptied.

Our loosies need more collective oomphff. England outplayed us in that department.Akira would have allowed the England 6 to be better contained.

@voodoo I'd be tempted to chuck Blackadder and Proctor on the bench, plus bring Clarke in for Telea. But yeah would prefer to see the same.
I wonder what the score would have been in Clarke had been in open space as much as Telea.

So he’s a better defender than Finau as well ?
Wow, Robertson really is clueless

One of the faults of the previous management was waiting an eternity before trying new talent.
There's plenty of new talent that may make a significant difference. Rotate the subs between games and give the new faces 20-30 minutes to prove they can make a difference.
e.g. a high work rate loosie, a seven fetcher or a centre that distributes. -

Akira is very powerful at close quarters. More of a wrestler than Finau, whose speciality is folding people.

I want a halfback that has speed and length in their pass.
DMac?
Perenara at 10.

You know it makes sense

Reece’s passing from the base might be the best. He’s quite good in that area, making repeated efforts around the ruck then arriving to clear the ball.
The glee he showed at finding touch off the boot last night might suggest his box kicking game could be somewhat lacking…?
-
Folau fakatava I would imagine be called up if perenara is out

TTT?
Nah, his passing is nowhere near as good as it was when he made the ABs.
It was noticeable how slow TJP's passing was. Christie has a better pass but takes so long to actually pass the ball. If you are trying to beat the rush defence it starts with the service from the halfback.
