@Chris I know you weren't against Finau mate, but genuinely every player is a red card risk really with the laws as they are. I not convinced that Finau is anymore a risk than any other forward really!

I think he is a bit more with all that stupid negative stuff in the Australian media after a couple of hits has blown up and highlighted it.

I hope he doesn't get red carded I want to win test matches.

Pretty much continuity-Foster as expected, which is understandable in many ways.

Perofeta a surprise but makes sense if they think BB is lacking big-match fitness. Worry he's a bit flaky but let's see how he goes. Could be just holding the paper bag until Jordan returns.

As other have said, how they play will be something to watch. I don't expect too much change there either.

Very disappointed to see Perenara and Christie in the same 23 but otherwise it's about as good as we currently have on offer. Wouldn't have minded seeing ALB/Proctor at centre with Ioane on the bench but not surprised.

@No-Quarter So long as folding them at waist, worst case penalty.

Interesting that the last 4 red cards by an All Black are

    Ofa - Blues
    Scooter - Saders
    Jordie - Canes
    Cane - Chiefs

This is in no way an endorsement of selecting more Highlander players

To be honest there has basically been none over here. He was seen as doing what we have always applauded as a 6, hitting 10s hard! I do think 1 was a tad late, but nowhere as bad as what was made out by Aua press!

I think it’s a good reason not to select Beauden Barrett and why he’s on the bench. Brain fades tend to run in the family

I like Razor having a proper press conference with journos on team naming and not a premade internally produced video.

    Good shit

@Kirwan pretty similar to foster because they’re the best players in the country.
He can’t just pluck All blacks out of thin air.
The only real contentious positions are Halfback and fullback. Roigard and Jordan would be there if fit.

Pretty similar to a Foster team IMO, understandable with the short lead up but still feels a bit meh.

No unexpected. And BB would have probably got the nod over Perofeta if he'd played some more competitive rugby recently.

Hope to see a better game plan, but I suspect we are going to see kick and hope, and tackle the counter attack.

Just hope we don't get the same appallingly bad forwards performance we saw the last time we played England.

That's been the standard for many years? Foster and co did the exact same thing.

Beauden's yellow card was the turning point in the last game.

Not the best six, they chased him off.

I wouldn’t have gone with TJ either, or Perofeta. DMac may be the best ten in NZ but not convinced about him yet. Feels like an impact player to me.

    So meh.

And Ardie? If Perofeta gets in over BB for that reason, why isn’t Sititi starting? If he’s not ready to start, why didn’t they pick Sotutu.
