I'm pleased Perofeta will start in the sense that at least it's something interesting and different to watch out for.
Not being the most avid Super rugby watcher can anyone tell me what he brings to the table at his best ?

Can't help but feel DMac looks like a vicar with his top button done up and collar folded over.

He did play well in the Super Rugby playoffs. He makes good decisions on counter attack, sees space well and has good speed and footwork to set up breaks for himself and others. High ball work was good in the playoffs at 15.
He also offers another kicking option and has a good variety of kicks.
Can operate as a second pivot option coming in at first receiver.
That's what I would say him at his best is.

Appreciate the feedback.
Looks very frail to me, hopefully this isn’t the case

He does link well with MT so there’s a combination there.

England won't be in fear of this team. And the 'nice boy' jersey
But its likely the best and safest option to start the first test. And if everyone clicks and plays at their best, esp TJ and Damian, they could have a VG start. However ...

whats does "nice boy" mean?

It'd be interesting to know who wasn't available due to injury.
Perofeta at 15 is a big call, not great form this year and hasn't shown a lot of mental toughness when the going gets tough in the past. His form in the playoffs must have just got him over the line there. I really like him as a player, very gifted, if they can get the top 2 inches right he could do well. I certainly wouldn't have picked him to start though.
At least the loose forward mix looks balanced, I was worried they were going to start Blackadder at 6.
A bit disappointed to see both TJP and Christie in the 23, was hoping one or the other.
Otherwise not too much to complain about, we still have a very strong side despite the retirements etc

Organises the counter attack well, puts people in space. Can be used as a second play maker. He has something deceptive with his centre of balance that allows him to get through tackles that he shouldn't.. for a small guy he makes a lot of line breaks like that
However we haven't seen much of that this year because of injuries and his form hasn't been the best

Yeah that would be the downside. Physicality, he tends to be flakey and he
hasn't impressed in his admittedly very limited test minutes so far. -
Fairly predictable team given the squad and limited preparation time.
Looking forward to seeing the evolution of our play.
