Luke Jacobson, Wallace Sititi and Ethan Blackadder very lucky.

Should be Hoskins Sotutu, Akira Ioane and Peter Lakai.

A starting loose trio of Finau, Papali’i and Savea for England 1 could do the business

    7 Crusaders. And the Captain

Image if they had won again

Absolutely gutted for Grace, Lio-Willie, Hannah, Hotham, Havili, McLeod and Fihaki. They were very hard done by.

I’m going to wait until after the first game before I make any conclusions. So many toys out of the cot.

This reminds me of the good old days of Robinson being picked over Umaga.

Blues lock Sam Darry, Hurricanes outside back Ruben Love and the Crusaders pair of prop George Bower and midfielder David Havili will also assemble with the squad as cover.

    Remember

This is the first squad only

Ted's first squad in 2004 had Xavier Rush in it.

Dropped the starting number 8 from the previous season to the bench as a result too.

    These one-eyed Blues coaches…

So no Love as I said… Ahhh the old mindless speculation and half truths ae!

Anyway, Ruben Love is injury cover for Caleb Clarke.

How Perofeta has made it over Love is beyond me but hey there’s a player in Perofeta so hopefully they can get the best out of him.

Really feel for Hoskins, no idea what more he needs to do. Possibly another Blackadder injury or a knock to Sititi/Jacobsen and he could get the call up? Either way, he should be in the 32.

Nah I don’t think he will. Bench spot. Well at least my email to him told him not to.

To be honest these days the wing position is probably the least specialised position on the pitch and can be covered by any number of backs.

Not sure they'll start Christie at 9. He's too slow for the earlier parts of the game.

England's high ball specialists will be licking their lips. Expect them to go to air a lot.

I'd prefer Ratima, but I just see them going Christie, gut feeling. Esp after TJ shat the bed in the semi
