There seems to be a narrative on Cane's thread about Iose losing form. As a neutral I didn't notice too much difference throughout the season for him.
He badly lost form. From Ab QUALITY TO JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS

He raises some valid points
Yes but I recall watching the Blues in the 80s play some fantastic running rugby. Great scrum, but also a great backline (tackling sometimes optional, Mr Fox). Or was I imagining it?

The Blues in the 80s? You were definitely imagining it.

Yeah, I'm in agreeance with you, he might not have been as good as he was earlier in the season, but he was one of our best and most consistent players all year. The only game he didn't fire this year was the semi-final where he was outplayed by Sititi.

But Terry Wright, John Kirwan! As for running rugby in general, M Jones scored tries backs would be proud of!

First season as a full time starter, a small fall off is expected. His form was still well above average so imo the criticism is slightly unjustified. It’s only magnified due to how well Sititi played in the semi final.

Unsure where to post this so I’ll throw it in here.
Zach Gallagher has signed with the Hurricanes. Crusaders wanted him to stay but he’s moving on for a new challenge in Wellington. Good signing. If he can stay healthy he’s one hell of a player! Good stuff Hurricanes.

@Landers92 Key words being 'if he can stay healthy'.
Hope he can, the more quality locks we have running round in NZ, the better.

Hes had a rough go at it this year. Dont think he has taken the field at all. He was meant to play a club game awhile back but pulled out of that due to an injury too. Either way massive potential.

Great news re Zach Gallagher, I wonder who he’ll replace? Is he playing for Wellington aswell?
Bad news for Harry Godfrey. He did his knee today playing for Petone and could be in doubt for Hawkes Bay and the NPC

Sangster. He is off to Japan.
Unsure about the NPC situation sorry.

@Landers92 damn ah well Gallagher is a bloody good replacement. Any others moving on?
Canes starting pack is shaping up nicely for next year. Best pack we’ve had in years and with guys like Delany and Iose off the bench we should be looking good. Just need to keep players fit.
- Numia

- Lomax
- Gallagher
- Walker-Leawere

Good for him! Glad he's seen the Yellow and Black light.

We need a 10, a 14, perhaps a 12.

Badly need a better 10.100%. Hopefully we can pick someone decent up. Godfrey will hopefully get more mins aswell.

Higgins will be our 12. He was bloody good when Jordie was out for 3 weeks. Just needs regular mins instead of getting mins here and there.
I think Bailyn Sullivan will be in the 14 jersey next year, or Naholo may shift to the right.
