He will never be anything over than Hutt prodigy to me.

How did we let him go? So painful seeing him carve up the Canes at the Tin.

Anyone point me in the direction of where I can listen to this one online, pretty please? Unable to have my usual SR Final breakfast here in the UK and will be out and about instead.

@Bones cheers. Can’t get the app here, but I’ve found another way around it to get that station.

Weather forecast has turned wet - probably during the game.

Probably edge to the Blues with a wetter game? But I'm wearing wet weather gear tonight anyway (even if it looks like it'll be towards the end)

If it does rain I think it blunts one of the Chiefs chances

I think the Blues looked their most vulnerable this year when the Reds got the ball into the wide channels.. The Blues set up quite narrow and RI's pace covers a lot of ground. It wasn't just the tries it was moving the big pack around

Its a lovely day in the 09 today. High cloud, sunshine with a light breeze. There has been little rain this week. If there is to be rain, forecast suggests it will only be light

Chiefs just have to bank on a game that runs the forwards across the park, and maybe have Finau stationed out wide for contestables, and Sititi charging up the middle. If it is all played in set piece and the middle of the park, then Blues have a very big advantage. One imagines the penalty and card count will determine the winner, as the pressure to infringe to stop momentum will be huge. Am heading up to Eden Park shortly

The big game in question is a sold out Blues v Chiefs match for the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific Final, held at Eden Park.

    Go the Chiefs!

I think the Blues will be way too strong for the Chiefs. I think they will get a number of PKs at the scrum and will do well at lineout mauls. The backlines are about even and will cancel each other out.

I hope I am wrong as I live in Chiefs country now but I see this as Blues by 15-20 points and largely over by half time.

@Damo media are consistently picking against the Blues or a narrow Blues win.

I hope you're right! We should win if we play to our potential.

It could be close, Chiefs could get up if things go their way - anything can happen in sport.

However I don't know why people would be picking against the Blues. They have been good all year and won pretty convincingly against Chiefs only a few weeks ago.

So basically the media are saying either the Blues or the Chiefs will win. That's Fern level genius.

Let's just hope that we don't have a repeat of some of the comments against the ref that we saw last time. Some of the stuff from the Chiefs fans last year was pretty rabid.

I ended up with a bunch of it in my inbox. All forgiven and forgotten now but stay off the sauce this time lads.
