Need to read the thread ...
... but how the hell did TJ escape a card?
It's hilarious aye??

The Chiefs giveth and the Chiefs taketh away from the Hurricanes.
Oh remember how they cheered our last try? We didn't score that, they're playing the Brumbies last night and in the final next week.
She's a funny old game

My bad for sharing something I got told a few hours before the game that ended up happening… two weeks in a row. I am NOT the new George 😂😂 50/50 though
It's not you I'm taking the piss out of fella...

@mariner4life Score tries against the Blues next week and we'll be cheering even more.

Haha I’m now aware. The sarcasm on this page is super hard to pick up, you’re better off thinking everything is sarcasm.

@Stag Plummer is a serviceable first five at best, that’s why the Chiefs will win.
You obviously haven't been watching him the last 5-6 games or so.
He's been far better than the dross at the Canes and Highlanders.
Would be a good back-up to MacKenzie.
Strong in defence, nice direct running game and accurate passing, place kicking and tactical kicking. Also seems to have a good temperament under pressure. -

Chiefs 6, 8, 9, 10 AB team
I doubt whether Sititi will amke it this year. 6, and 10 with 9 perhaps in the squad I can see.
I always enjoy your reluctance to ever select a new player
'Perhaps 9 in the squad' who are these other 9s making the squad over Ratima haha?
I genuinely think the 9s will be TJ, Christie and then probably Ratima or Fakatava. Sititi I reckon has huge future, but don't really see Razor etc picking him above Savea etc. Will be happy if he is, but if you listened tp Ryan on podcast where he was saying how much of a step it is up to tests from even finals super rugby, I just get idea he will like to see him get a bit more experience.
Lol I not a seer or anything, just kind of parroting what I heard.
-
@Frank he is nowhere near being in the same conversation as the other players I listed, but McKenzie is. The fact he could be considered a back up to McKenzie is more a reflection of the lack of strength we currently have at 10 than anything else.

Aside from his two big runs (which were obviously great) , how was Sititi in the rest of the game?
He genuinely was good mate. I could see him coming in on apprentice thing, but suspect with the 'A' team having matches they may pick him for that?

There's really no justification for leaving Ratima out of that group. If they pick TJ Christie and Fakatava they might as well just select the squad before Super Rugby season even starts.
