Haven't read the thread but need to take time for a whinge about perpetual idiot Justin Marshall.
At just on/just before 60 mins Chiefs get penalty advantage at scrum, go wide and ENS kicks if down to the other 22.
2 or 3 or more of the Chiefs players advance in front of the kicker, immediately negating the advantage so BOK rightfully immediately goes back to the original penalty as there was no advantage.
But Justin, because he has a (justifiable) bee in his bonnet about advantages going on too long decides to have a whinge about BOK having to "answer to his masters".
This was on the back of a similar whinge in the first half where play was called back 40m. IMO this was still the right call as the kick from Malimali had ceded possession, and the subsequent touch from the penalty made the same ground but gave possession back to the Chiefs.
I'm a fan of the concept of a more limited advantage (repeated phases in the attacking 22 gets ridiculous, but as per usual Justin needs to learn to engage brain before opening mouth and removing all doubt.
An unnecessary whinge about the state of the game.

Jeez, it was an overwhelmed Moana team but DMac and Finau should be the first on the AB sheet. Chiefs are a different team without them. It is not the natural speed or ability that Narawa has, it is his rugby IQ that gives him the opportunities. Clear separation of Narawa, Jordan, and Telea from the likes of Clarke and Rayasi despite the obvious natural ability of the later pair.
Rayasi? He can't make the Canes starting 23 now. And for good reason. A long way behind Moorby and Naholo. I would prefer Sinkinson too based on this years form

@booboo I thought the 1st one (in the game) shouldn't have gone back, 2nd makes sense
I'm open to discussion on the first one, but still think ultimately correct call was made.

Sympathy try. That was held up
The AR said in the comms that he didn't see the ball grounded. BOK ignored him.

Even though I still think Parker and Sititi were playing in the wrong positions for this combination, you would have to say they combined well. Parker did miss a tackle in both of MP's tries though. Sititi was impressive in those preseason games in Japan so I think he might have forced his way onto the bench in the top 23 with this performance. I don't see McMillan deviating from Boshier at 7.
Narawa is getting up to speed quickly and seemed to be cruising for most of the game. A touch of Sivivatu I thought, where he never looks to be running fast but nobody catches you.

No bok called on field try, he had an angle the cameras don't have, overhead and all around. He said he thought the ball was grounded then popped up. TMO would have to see conclusive evidence that the ball wasn't grounded. He did not have that, he had nothing, so the TMO said go with your onfield decision. All correct and good, if bok thought the ball did ground and bounce up. Not that I think it did, by ref did

@Machpants The full conversation between BOK and the AR was not in the TV broadcast, only what BOK said (as you described). I was listening to the live ref feed and have also watched a TV replay. This was before BOK's on-field call, which the TMO rarely overrules.

while i think you wont see a change for the hurricanes game in the starting loose forwards it wouldnt surprise me if sititi move into the 23.iand after bye week get more time starting if he continues to impress. nteresting they didnt put boisher on at all?
