We could use the experience - especially at lock.
Sounds good to me.
Whitelock could be a nice bridge until the new brigade are ready/eligible (Holland, Hannah, Beehre etc etc)
People are also being incredibly naive if they think previous AB coaches didn't have similar conversations with overseas based kiwi players.

I’m sure someone on here mentioned Whitelock coming back a few months ago.
Do we know for certain it’s Razor chasing him. Or maybe he’s coming back for other reasons. But it fits the media’s narrative this way.
Don’t believe everything you read in the media.
Also people’s opinions on here mean absolutely nothing in the real world.
Just my opinion though. -
@george33 you do realise he has analysts that cut up all the footage for him.
He doesn’t sit there watching full games one after the other.
He also has assistant coaches that go to games. Maybe he’s been overseas fulfilling sponsors requirements. -

@mariner4life Yeah Fozzie certainly got no free ride, he was abused from all angles before his first test in charge haha.
I think at the time it was more people's fustration that Foster was appointed to what is supposed to be the most prestigious coaching role in the country given there were probably about 50 higher qualified candidates

Crusaders respond as Scott Robertson hunts Sam Whitelock for All Blacks return
The 35-year-old is wanted by his former coach to return from Europe.
“Sam left an enduring legacy here at the Crusaders, and we can see that in the quality of locks we have, now under the tutelage of Scott Barrett,” said chief executive Colin Mansbridge.
“Once a Crusader, always a Crusader, but as far as we know he’s on a two-year deal with Section Pau.”
