You misread it completely. I was expressing sympathy for their schedule.
If my provisional trip goes ahead - sailing in Adriatic, bit of a tour of the Balkans and hunkering down in northern Italy ahead of an AB test then nothing short of a sudden shortage of Barolo is going to be a problem.

Very kind of you not to rub it it...

Lets not get ahead of ourselves yet.
You are confusing this with another forum methinks..

I could see Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens having a big year as well
I'm really hoping he gets a slot as well. If only to see how the commentators manage his moniker
It's one of those names that gets shouted as though a miracle is about to happen.

All Blacks star Will Jordan facing long spell on sidelines
Gutted for the young man. All the signs pointed to Razor giving him the 15 jersey for the All Blacks and now this. Does this mean we're going to have to suffer through another season of Beauden at 15 or is this a chance for someone like Shaun Stevenson?
I'd imagine Robertson will stick with with BB at 15 for the first few game s to get his feet under the table. Understand that and have no problems with it.
But it'll be dissappointing if he doesn't throw the 15 jersey to one or two contenders by mid-season to see how they go.

"Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens" doesn't sound at all like "Ethan Blackadder" though....

I'm hoping Stevenson get's a look in as him and Dmac had an incredible kicking game for the Chiefs last year which helped win the territory battle in almost every game they played. Has good nose for the tryline as well.
His defense is a major worry though, all hands and arms with no shoulder which when you're the last line of defense is not a good look.

Jordan out for 6 months means he's a chance to return during The Rugby Championship which commences in August
I guess the good news is, for a player of his type a shoulder injury is better than a leg injury

Had a listen to a podcast with Jamie McIntosh on Sen and apparently Asafo Aumua not only beat his bronco time and set a new record in the gym pre-season, but he's also apparently sitting around 118kg. That's huge for a hooker but he definitely looks fit. Had a big game against the Force so hopefully he can continue that form this year and push for an ABs spot now that Coles is no longer around.
-
was whoppa particularly fast?
-
@Canes4life
Wonder if he worked on his lineout throwing in the off-season. -

Wonder if he worked on his lineout throwing in the off-season.Such negativity!! Now he can run to the subsequent breakdown much faster after his overthrows and missed jumpers and be able to do it for much longer in the game.
-
At full potential, having Aumua and Taukei'aho as a one, two punch for the ABs is a mouth-watering prospect. Aumua's form last year was pretty good, wasn't it?
-
@Old-Samurai-Jack last two years he's been solid, just battled a few injuries which kept him from hitting his stride. He's now a vice captain at the Canes so hopefully that extra leadership responsibility takes his game to a new level.

Started out well after a big NPC 2022 but faded as the season went on.
Want to see Aumua step up in the big games later in the Super season.
-
@KiwiMurph 100% we've seen glimpses of him absolutely nailing people. Just need him to be more accurate and ruthless against better opposition. He's started well.
-
Looks like the AB halfbacks 1 and 2 may be a Hurricane this year.
Genuinely excited this year apart from giving Silverlake a look in. -
Quick reexamination of the 2022 AB XV squad. If we get these sorts of forwards selections in the ABs this year then we are in trouble. Hopefully Jason Ryan won't opt for as many comedy options this time.
