A late start and a 46 over game to kick things off.

Absolute horror start for the BC’s

    5/2 after one over.

Ravindra and walking wicket Nicholls back in the shed, both 2 ball ducks.

Dunedin weather is rubbish to start summer, kinda like the rest of the country 😞 About to get a start, but advantage NZ: 16 degrees, overcast wiht stiff southerlies is as alien to the Bangles as you'll get in Summer 😛

Not a good start for the left-handed batsmen.

One of the underrated impacts of rain is messing with your bowling allocations. We're down to 30 overs now,so max 6 per bowler, which means their opening bowlers have one over left between them and Mustafizur (who I think is another of their death options) also only has one over left. Could be some carnage here.

While Chapman is doing fantastically, it would have been nice if they promoted Clarkson to give him a shot to show what he's got in his first game.

Some great batting from Latham and Young.

That suicidal running with 4 run outs in the last two overs is just plain stupidity.

Surely wickets in hand have a bearing on how many extra runs we get from Mr Duckworth & Lewis?

I don't think so once it's the end of scheduled overs - it's only overs that unexpectedly disappear that affect it.

Great stuff Will Young. Classy player.

With him in form (different format I know ) the pressure on Nicholls will ramp up even more.

I really hope he can ditch the “Black Cap batsman from the late 90s early 2000s” test record too.

Good to win the inaugural T30 international.

Well done BCs. Always good to dominate a lowly team to start the season !

That's what they probably thought about us a month ago....

Soumya makes 169 and Bangladesh are going to have a competitive score.

However, they were in some trouble at 80/4 and shortly after Rachin dropped Soumya before he'd made 50 - one he should really have caught. Milne had a chance that he couldn't get to - and Young dropped him as well.

That's how you convert a straightforward win into a tricky chase.

O'Rourke picks up 3 wickets in the 50th ovr to bowl them out with a ball to spare.

    We will need 292.

Bit worrying that Young struggles to rotate strike. Need to be picking up singles.

Why is Finn allen not playing? He's very in-form, he's in the squad. Yet we play NICHOLLS in a billateral series against bangla fucken desh....

I know Finn Allen has not been amazing in black colours but his talent and potential is undeniable. What do we gain from playing Nicholls in this series over Finn Allen?

Hard to believe Ravindra only debuted this year. Brilliant to watch.
