Have a bit of concern with Nepo finishing the game more so from his around the ground work. Have visions of him being stepped around and the Boks scoring match winning points.
Newell got a bit owned off of the bench vs Boks in London and to a lesser degree France opening game.
Given scrum strength for Boks off of the bench Laulala makes sense to me.
Agreed though there are risks both ways - Laulala can be a worry during phase play - though from memory was excellent vs Boks at Mt Smart.

I'm at a family weekend in Kent for the Final. I have a choice of watching it with Mrs M's children and young grandchildren (neither are really all that into rugby) or slinking back to the hotel and watching it on my own.
I'm taking a half-bottle of Single Malt and opting for the hotel room.
Been invited to a kiwi mates bar in Ottawa. I know there'll be some dumb shit Canadians with no skin in the game other than for a wind up. I think I'll stay home and sink the remaining out of date Speights I have. I can't contain the rage but at least I can mitigate who sees it.

So, we need to identify whoever is on the bench, and be really screwed on up top and give it hell.” Papalii revealed the All Blacks had not looked to shy away from what was at stake this week. “There were some saying this is probably one of the most important games in All Blacks history,” he said. “[We] went through a hard path to get here – media, friends, family even criticising us, and we stuck together. We weren't even said to be in the final and now look at us. “Different players take it differently and some of the older guys probably were hit a little bit harder, and it was good to see a bit of emotion and the want from them. Seeing that gives us all an extra 2-3 percent to think, ‘OK, we are going to the well’.
