Obviously been said 1 trillion times but this kicking will be the death of us. These bombs are absolutely useless. Every other team seems to weight them well enough to contest but we just hand the pill back.

@Victor-Meldrew yea it has been happening for too long and 'consistently' with all our kickers for it not to be, surely...right?

    Right?

@Victor-Meldrew times like this you would love a fullback/Winger with a long kicking game , i wonder where we can find one..?šŸ˜‰

@frugby I'd love them to sort out our right foot kicking options and then worry about the left...

Watching JB do a banana kick on a penalty when we wanted to be 5 out was ugly.

Surely we can get someone in to teach our guys to long punt?

I'm genuinely thinking it's a deliberate tactic. Any other explanation does my head in.

Some of them might be, but the first kick by both Beaudie and Jordie were just poor execution. I get the ones that are under pressure etc, but set buggers should be hoofed down field, not rugby league 20 metres on the fly touch finders

I would love to see the stats on average exit distance by team. I suspect it would be a very telling stat.

    More useful stat than 'rucker'

I think we kick short to stop the opposition winding up with momentum. Same reason teams don't do long line dropouts. Easier to keep the defensive line in shape that way.

If I was Cheika, I’d have been passing cigarettes around at half time.

Score an early try and then bring on some reserves to keep fresh.
