RWC QF: All Blacks v Ireland

A clip of the training on TV had Lomax running freely, didn't appear to have a limp and leg seems to knly be lightly strapped, so that is promising.

New Zealand 34 Ireland 26Ireland’s side are due to be named tomorrow (Thursday), meanwhile, the All Blacks are set to be named on Friday but it appears the selectors have a full squad to choose from..
Pretty sure it's you, cos I changed my mind yesterday and told my mates NZ by 8. And I'm a genus.

And did I just see Christie is a chance for the bench? Zero surprise here, Fozzie gonna foz.
He's saving Roigard for the semi. Hooray it's 2007 all over again

We are more than 500 posts into this thread and nothing has even happened. So with 24+ hours still to wait to see the team selected, I think some of you nervous nelly's will explode

Saw a post on FB that says we have 14 of the 23 (10 starters and 4 of the bench) that played Ireland in 2019 available this weekend, while Ireland have 6 (4 + 2) of thier 23...
-
And Roigard's had a lot more experience than Christie this year

Got a feeling on the bench they will go for Christie over Roigard as well , experience needed
can we get one of the "fluffy bunny" filters set up for the word "experience"?
experience at being bang "average"? he's only got 19 tests so hardly a veteran who has been through some shit and come out on top...playing smith for 60-70 minutes is the fucking experience we need
Ask yourself, in the last 15 minutes when everyone is tiring, and we want someone to do something brilliant that might just turn the game, does Roigard or Christie spring to mind?
My only doubt about Roigard is if we are leading by two points and need to defend and his lack of experience in a tight game. Christie might a better bet in that case but I think Roigard is well worth the risk as he looks really confident and composed.

Having not seen the team, my gut feel is 23-22 to the All Blacks... will be a shit of a game, Ireland punishing our ill-discpline with 3s, but some Telea/Jordan magic, and a hard-earned try by Savea/Frizell will keep us in it. We'll go down 20-22 with five to play, but will either pinch it with a long-range penalty or a drop goal.

That's England. Ireland go for full points.
I think in this setting they'll accumulate. I reckon the ABs largely will to, because it will be tight and both teams will defend well.

They said everyone is available for selection.
De Groot and Lomax are out 2 best props but have had little Ruby over the last 3 weeks.
Do we start them both? Or start 1 and bench the other?
Personally I think they will start De Groot and Laulala and bring a Lomax off the bench

It’s 2 days before the match. So Friday NZT for arch on Sunday NZT

Jordie to knock a couple over from 55 out in the first ten would set a lovely tone.
