@BerniesCorner said in All Blacks 2023:

    No dinks
    Squeaky clean discipline
    No nervousness
    DMac involved
    Roigard involved
    No shovel shite crabbing
Direct high tempo p n goes
    Mounga kicks everything
    Possibility of scraping through.
Looking forward to this more than anything since 2015

These are all achievable for this group. A more simple, direct plan reduces pressure on the players, reduces the penalty count because we can do a better job of controlling the breakdown. It will be super frustrating if we don't do these things and lose playing loosely. Game plan and selection are on Foster and his group. He needs to set the team up to shine

Don't get your hopes up or it will end up in tears for you. Don't fall for Fozzie's trap. It is what his teams always do. They beat up the weak and lose when it matters.

I fear St Denis is going to be a total green out. I hope they shut TF up for the haka.

So which loosies would you play against Ireland given their skill intelligence and ferocity in the rucks?

    Frizzel, Blackadder and Savea.

Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know a thing about Rugby.

I'd just hope Blackadder can learn to catch in a week.

Fuck it. I live in hope. Picking a 2019 like performance.

It's the hope that kills ...

@game_film you'd expect Moody would already be on a plane?

They'd have had a good idea 24 hours after when the swelling usually goes down.

The only way we win this is by nailing our exits, play for territory, maintain discipline, protect the pill, solid set piece, dominate D and build scoreboard pressure. Pretty much exactly how Ireland play.

@taniwharugby given that he was scratched, he’s probably on the way or at least got his passport ready. But big call to insert him into the squad and therefore rule out TL for the remainder. Does feel like one of those stories waiting to happen though.

There is no reason why we can't deliver all of that. We match that, the "team" part, I reckon we have better individuals.

Something about the sum of the parts ...

Fascinated to see how Fozzy handles the media this week. My guess is business as usual and ‘focus on ourselves’ but if there’s ever a time to throw a grenade, it’s now.

The crowd will be predominantly green as well.
    It's an uphill battle.
    A battle we must win.
    F' in come on!

If it's so important to have Moody in the squad now just replace Havili, who is also injured.
