Brilliant first half, messy second but the game was over anyway. Very surprised at how poor Scotland were in the first half. Biggest concern is possible injuries. Lowe, Hansen, Furlong....particularly Lowe who's gone to hospital with an eye injury.

The reward for coming first in such a tough group is the All Blacks waiting in the quarters....what a shit fucking mess the IRB made of this WC.

Could be telling that Scotland finished over the top of Ireland once all the replacements came on.

If Berry put as much effort into reffing as he does his hair he would probably get the final…

@Stag don’t think so. Ireland starting emptying the bench at 48 mins and dropped their intensity a little after. Couldn’t have gone much better for them being able to rest leading players so early into the second half and giving the whole bench a decent run out.

@stodders I think its definitely a winnable quarter final for the All Blacks who played against Italy, but not for the first 20mins against Uruguay All Blacks…

La Rochelle showed how to beat Leinster in Dublin in this year's EC final. 13 starters for Ireland came from that province this evening. Winning the physical battle up front is the key, of course.

ABs go hard and straight, drag them into deep water, make them start to question themselves. The ABs team next week will be cold and unemotional. Sexton Will be buried under Parisian turf

@cgrant helps to have a back row containing Aldritt and Botia 😬

@sparky so it can be done 😉. And that version of the ABs was not the current version.

Big week ahead prep wise. Then the players need to do their talking on the pitch.

    Any update on Lomax yet?

Impressive by Ireland. But gee do they milk the referee to the max. I thought the Tmo was inept today and hope Mr Cronan does not officiate for us.
Do we know the qf officials yet? It will make a huge difference in my view. We must create flow from the ruck and keep tmo out of it.
