Operation ¼ final now. Not sure how to prepare for Uruguay in a dead rubber.

Uruguay play a niggly spoiling game so not the worst opponent. Near the same 23 i'd say.

Foster looks as happy as when he’s got a fresh, full KFC family bucket.

Nice training park hit out against a tier 2 nation, but I'm not sure this is what we needed before a quarterfinal.

Where’s the upside at this point in a difficult game? You lost to France, let the boys build some confidence, let them have some fun, and let’s see what happens next

    100%
And it was easy because we fucked their set piece and ruck up
Got run in the legs of returning players

I'm happy as shit. We're in good shape

Can’t wait for Ire vs Sco. That game could be a cracker especially if Scotland turn up and get a lead.

Gorgeous autumnal day in Lyon. Plenty of AB shirts.

    We’ve got this.

    Just enjoy the vibe!

    What fun.

Probably happy that Ryan hasn't eaten it already...

Yeah so can we keep Ardie as captain? I feel like we are going backwards if we give it back to Cane.

Some of this post match stuff on Sky is utter trash

ITV is much better - Fitzy, Parise & Wilkinson.

Fitzy head & shoulders above the other two despite being the shortest

Watching highlights now. DMacs foot speed gives defence kittens. If we don't have him on the bench in the quarter I'm kicking a cat

How very dare you, we all want to know about the seagulls, trawler and emotional connection to both

Wow! So entertaining. Great display from Matt Carley to allow the talent to shine.
BBR back to his best today. Jordie and DMac lots of nice skilled touches. Ardie Codie Telea Jordan and Smith all great and our props physically dominant. And our goalkicking was great. Well done Richie M and DMac. So many wide ones.

Only concerns would be weak clearances from Beauden and an invisible display for much of match from. Rieko.
We will take plenty of confidence moving forward.

Set piece was fucking sick. Pumped their scrum, pinched their lineouts
We contested rucks for 80 fucking minutes. Sam Whitelock was still sticking his hands in at the end
We were good at keeping our ball at the ruck.

    Those are good things.

Discipline improved despite a lapse after halftime

Yep, looking good. Only concern it it's only one game and we've been here before.

Ryan, Foster and co have got the forwards back in the groove, so let's hope they can keep them there.

Beauden is definitely a protected player to stay on for the full 80 mins. That was a perfect opportunity to look at the Mo'unga-DMac combo in the 2nd half.

We should have saved some of those special plays for the QF.

No cards and injuries was the big bonus.

Look, we're not going to have it this easy in the knock outs, but

If we can secure good ball we can score points. And that's a scary thought for anyone playing us, knowing they'll maybe need 23 or more to beat us, they can't just rely on a try and a couple of penalties.

This morning will just have created a seed of doubt
