The All Blacks are ‘hoping’ that Tyrell Lomax, Shannon Frizell and Jordie Barrett will all be available for the Italy game. No mention of Sam Cane.
Promising news on the injury front for the All Blacks
Defence coach Scott McLeod said the All Blacks suffered no injuries in the 71-3 victory over Namibia, and gave an update on those players who have not appeared in the tournament yet – prop Tyrel Lomax, flanker Shannon Frizell and second five-eighths Jordie Barrett.

And I can already hear the knives being sharpened, in case Blackadder indeed gets to play. In proper TSF way, every mistake he makes will be pointed out ad nauseam and how player X, Y or Z should have been selected instead, appropriately ignoring the good things he does on the field. GOM are going to GOM!

A bunch of 2nds, 3rds etc. Strangely he was actually first equal with J Barrett on the cumulative table that year (an anomaly because hardly anyone played multiple good games)

If he gets selected, I hope he goes really well.
However, I do find the trust he enjoys from some on here, despite no warrantable form to merit, ironic considering that many of the same posters aim that arrow at Fozzy and his selection team.

@gt12 I think there's merit in having hope Blackadder will do well, but yeah, I find it strange to read "we don't need Cane" etc. Although I think he's the right player to receive the call-up, I'm not among the people who've been talking him up. I'm firmly on the "giving him a chance" side, but not with unrealistic expectations.

I've a question about Luke Jacobson, does he only look good against lower sides at AB level? I recall him looking good versus minnows but against SA, France, Ireland etc? Maybe it also depends on if they play him at 6 or 8.
