RWC Week 1: France v All Blacks

@Tim Taukei'aho hasn't exactly been doing much to deserve the start himself, this year.
It's the players who give away too many penalties, not the coaches.
I don't know why I'm even replying to someone who has obviously drunk too much.

@akan004 I loathe Mark Robinson just as much
More. I don't blame Fozz for wanting the job. Robinson chose him

Or that Nepo was one of the best carriers in the tight forwards. Hardly his strength
I'm not the only one who has constantly said that we get nothing from our props as ball-carriers. The Aust props are so much more effective by comparison.

Agree.
You can argue the first appointment wasn't totally unreasonable. THE FUCKING REAPPOINTMENT PARTWAY THROUGH YEAR TWO PISSES ME OFF, AND EVERYTHING SINCE THEN MAKES ME RAGE WITH THE FURY OF A THOUSAND SUNS
Fuck the board, fuck Robinson, fuck Silverlake

Yep, well said that man. Age has caught up with some of these players.

@Stargazer You should watch some Crusaders highlights again, and keep ignoring test rugby. AB forwards gave away penalties at a terrible rate the last two games. He is selecting Taylor over Taukei'aho. He is clearly not up to test rugby level.
Foster consistently played Taylor and even Coles ahead of Taukei'aho. He did that until injury forced him otherwise. He did it even when Taylor's form was dreadful.
Foster clearly prefers Taylor.
We have no idea of which hooker Ryan would prefer.

@Bovidae our current props work around the park are like most other international teams were a decade or so back while ours were running, passing, offloading, cleaning...now ours are battling, everywhere.
Look at the positives.
Nepo Laulala caught the ball in tough sweaty conditions AND made a few metres.
The learnings are clearly working

@nzzp That Ellis Park win sure has come back to bite us. I had mixed emotions after that game, was stoked that we had beaten the old foe but had a sick feeling that it would mean the retention of Fozz. A more professional board would have still sacked him and not given in to the demands of the players.

My wife was asking why we were playing the entire second half in our half.
Ask Beauden and Fozzie , surely it was a team tactic,
