Hammering
Boks barely got out of 3rd gear
We didn't get out of first, so not completely flattering.
Both SA’s choice
Not entirely. We chose to:
- Forget how to catch
- miss easy shots
- play dumb footy in our 22 (costing two tries)
- throw poorly to lineouts
- give away dumb penalties
and - play with, on average, a man down for the whole match.
Excuses? Maybe.
Remeber just over a month ago we made them look equally average.
Honestly, that first penalty not given and I don't see this happening.
They need to win contact to play the high risk kicking game. Why would you play a game that gives the Boks territory to play their pressure game?

The first half took 60 minutes to complete.
110 Queen Quids to watch the refs, touch judges and TMO take centre stage.
This, bloody frustrating

Ok, the game meant a helluva a lot more to the Boks than our boys and they have been in Europe for much longer. One of those games under Foster and there have been a few where the All Blacks looked hideously under-prepared for some reason.
Flush the toilet and move on. The real business starts in two weeks time when there is a lot more at stake than the Qatar Airways Cup. A lot to work on ahead of France. Go Black!

Lol Scott Barrett is perhaps the dumbest fluffybunny to ever pull on a black jersey.
He got tackled into half back. The clean out was aggressive not dirty. Unlucky. He is the best forward by a mile.

While true, its still unacceptable.
They went there to cash in with an exhibition doubling up as a RWC warm up. They put on an exhibition of pure scutter and succumbed to their biggest ever defeat. To a team with a debutant (at centre) a rookie ten and Kolisi coming back off serious injury. They slapped them around.
And a couple of our usual suspects have reverted to type.
This batch (under this coach) are creating all sorts of negative records.
The crest on the front is bigger than any name on the back.

@kev SB's cleanout wasn't too different to Perth, and we know how that ended up.
You can’t have it both ways. We want guys hitting rucks and clearing bodies. He is our best by a long way. Sure he got it wrong because he had moved to side. But wasn’t dirty. He is the best NZ forward.

One consequence of today. Unless Foster wins the World Cup, I can’t see him getting the big European pay day for his next gig that he’s opening for. It will be a consultancy in Japan or another Super Rugby job at best.
Or Australia
