That was no knock on. FFS. Love Scott B but how stupid can you get!!

It was avoidable and silly, but I actually think the yellow was harsh. Just a pen for me.

Ireland are tackling people beyond the ruck and outside the ruck every week.

Scotty gave someone a bit of biff on the way into a ruck. No head contact I could see.

You are too upright you get Taa'vao'd, you grass cutter and you get Scootered.

    Can't win.

Is that really that clear and obvious?

We can expect the same in the World Cup though. The TMOs will be looking for ways to deny the All Blacks tries.

Get lost with the conspiracy theories sparky. It’s infantile.

That was a knock for sure.

    Enjoyed that 40mins.

Dumb from SB -- really dumb prior to WC.

Ref has been fine. TMO has been fine ... we have been poor.

    Exits #1 problem,
#2 is the playing footy in the wrong areas of the field and pushing passes rather than setting and recycling.
    #3 lineouts not good enough

Looks like we are playing very vanilla rugby (powder dry) - pretty static when we have the ball and not valuing it enough - eg BB silly chip kick and loose passing.

We are far from out of this - if we hold on to the pill the opportunities and penalties will come.

Our lineout, breakdown work, forward discipline is crap.

Jordie may be having a mare, but this performance is down to the forwards and Ryan needs to give them a few words in the shed....

2nd yellow but it could well be upgraded to a flat Red.

and its a load of shite because his first yellow was a team yellow due to Carley reffing like rain man for the first 20 minutes.

The performance is as flat as they looked during Kapo O Pango.

    Fairly predictable given the layoff.

Some next level dumbarse-ery by Scott Barrett for both cards. I assume Lord now makes the RWC squad.

    Jordie having a shocker.

Faf having a brilliant game for the Boks.

Newell going well up front, Ardie is into everything and have been impressed by Rieko.

Aaron should be clearing more from 9 - Mo'unga getting pressured and doesn't have the biggest boot to begin with.

It's a strange game. Neither side will want to show too much. SA came out fired up and we infringed a lot, and the ref pinged us off the park. We needed to tighten right up to weather that period but didn't react and ended up losing too many to the bin.

Despite that, we did manage to stay in the game, and are very unlucky not to have at least one try on the board. SA no doubt would have kicked most of those penalties during a RWC game though, so the scoreline would look different.

    Be an interesting second half.

That was pretty dominant by the Boks. Worrying.

Nah. That first twenty was all down to the repeated penalties. After that it at least evens.

Foster strikes again. An All Black horror show. This side have the talent but are so poorly prepared for Test March Rugby.

Im worried about fly half. Im not sure any of our options are cut out for test match knockout rugby.

None of them have a body of work that would convince me otherwise

We only saw the view that confirmed no head contact after the YC had been awarded. I wonder if the TMO got that in time?

To be fair SA playing exactly as you would expect. Their powder is very wet but effective.

Three or 4 penalties for engaging with lifters too early.....technical pedantic stuff.

Carley wouldn't be blowing that in minute 75 of a RWC semi final id wager.

Then Scottie gets a resultant yellow for a ruck infringement 35 meters from his own line.
