To the Manor Born last weekend
There's a reason he's going to the RWC and Dombrandt is staying home
And no, it's not because he's playing for Wales
Workrate
The kid was into everything as soon as he came on
Excited to see what he can do
Got some talented centres having their first chance too
Big match for Lydiate
Even bigger match for Tshiunza who was disappointing last weekend
Great to see Basham back
And last chance saloon for Hardy after Gareth Davies' performance last weekend
-
@MiketheSnow I may have seen him play 8 once but it would be his third position after 6/lock. He does have a good turn of pace so I hope he can get a gallop in the open at some point.
-
If he continues to perform and improve and Faletau doesn't recover from his calf injury then Plumtree could well see himself on the bench for the important matches, even starting
At the moment it looks like Gatland will choose Lydiate at 6, Jac Morgan at 7 and Faletau at 8
If Lydiate isn't on form then he could consider Wainwright or Refell at 6. Most probably Wainwright
If Faletau remains injured, then it would be Lydiate/Refell, Morgan, Wainwright
In all those situations, Plumtree is a great bench option because he covers lock, blindside and No 8
And if he's on fire he could make the 6 shirt his own
Exciting times

@MiketheSnow Listening to the Rugby Podcast and Hamilton and Goode were frothing over the balance of the Welsh back row in last weeks game and talking about Tshuinza initially felt he was a bit quiet but then Hamiltaon asked whether that was the case or was it just that he seemed quiet compared to the other two?

Quiet IMHO
He's going to have to do something really special to get a look in

His form dropped off in 2022
The guy that was on the bench for Wellington was very different from the guy who was pushing Tom Robinson for a spot in the Blues earlier in the year
Seems to be back to his early Blues form now
-
That's England's best team with the exception of Curry
Let's see how it goes then
-
If we don't win this one, where the hell do we go?
-
Jonny Hill on the bench despite not being in the squad. I'm guessing neither Chessum nor Ribbans is fit and that Lawes is not going to play lock ever again.

That's a real left field selection and/or those boys won't make it and Hill is battled hardened

6-0 to England at halftime
Garland will be far happier than Borthwick
MOTM so far, the Georgian ref
Just one dubious call right at the end of the half when he awarded a penalty to Wales then to England when Wales was still on advantage
Amazing rate of improvement since his first test last year

No just me then. It was truly weird reffing.

And to compound it the YC to Reffell was bullshit

One for the team
-
Welsh lineout a bit shit.
Edit: Both teams look a bit shit across the field.
