All Blacks Vs Springboks RC Week 2

I'm really looking forward to this match, the unknowns - Auckland weather, how much will the ground cut up and the French "flair"
I think the game will be won and lost up front, with the better kicking game a key
contributer.
I'm excited about our front row, little surprised Taylor over Sami though.Like others have said, I'm not confident with that bench... Christie and Clarke in particular.

Me too.
Amazing in this day and age that this is the first time the Boks will play in NZ in four years.
Weirdly (for the Fozzie era), I've been quietly confident all week - for no particular reason. Could easily be in for a nasty surprise!

This, I really can't see us winning this. Yes, we did well against Arg, but they were awful. As soon as Arg started to click, and our bench (even worse this time) came on we were in trouble.

I'm a bit more optimistic in that: (a) I have quite a lot of faith in Big Tamaiti. It's hard to shift such a massive man and I don't think anyone bettered him in Super rugby. I think he might be an upgrade; (b) We can hopefully bring on our lesser lights from the bench later, or not at all; and (c) the starting XV looks pretty strong.

@taniwharugby Even though he's one of my Mako boys, I can't disagree.
We'll have to use him and it's a bit of a worry if he's the 2nd best halfback in NZ.
Our back reserves aren't that flash, but I think the bench forwards will be better this week.
Hopefully we don't get any early injuries in the backs.

In the interest f supporting your moneybags bid for the 2023 NPC I suggest that Fozzie returns the Ginga to you lot and takes one of the Magpies halfbacks.
-
@taniwharugby On the plus side- I've never even heard of the Bok halfback, and google tells me his only test experience to date was coming off the bench in a loss vs Wales!

@Nepia We'd walk to the title if the Fern was selecting the All Blacks.
Mind you, the All Blacks would only have two players in France, which would be OK because they'd only have one coach.
Nah, we'd completely handicap you by giving you back the Ginga and the Tongan, while keeping Jordan.

@Nepia No - pretty happy not to have him at all, I think.
Strange, even I want him in there despite the fact he has the double whammy of being from the Moneybag Invitational XV and the Evil Empire.
-
Couldn't give a flying ra if the ball doesn't go past Mo'unga.
-
Least the AB haka won't be drowned out by that boring SA lullaby

Yes, it was a game for the ages. Had it recorded on my sky box for some time and have watched it quite a few times !
You're thinking of 2014. Or possibly 2004. Weren't any skyboxes in 95 so it's probably not that peach. Unless your national broadcaster plays it Sundays to show schoolkids the path to righteousness?
