Not sure what that has to do with Bazball myself.
This is shit cricket, predicated by a wicket that offers nothing to the bowlers, because the batting thrash wank that is "BAZBALL" aims to take bowlers out of play.
As I said previously, it is the worst parts of India or Pakistan in the 90s and even up to today, with milder weather and better sandwiches.
Mod: take the abuse elsewhere Nick.
Debatable. England is not renowned for its cuisine. I can 100% guarantee the toilet facilities will be better though.
With “Bazball” I think the chickens were always going to come home to roost when they came up against a better team which they have. Man for Man there’s too much class in this Australian team. Stokes and co will need to knuckle the fuck down today if they’re even going to get remotely close but I wouldn’t bet on them getting within 200 personally.

I think that's a fair view MR.
Once you strip away the bluff and bluster of Bazball, I think Australia are just a better side. Not by a wide margin, but by enough that it should show itself over five days.
It's the bowling. Broad and Anderson just aren't what they used to be. They can't sustain pressure, there's a let-off ball every over. The next gen aren't there yet. I wonder if this is Jimmy's last test. Or Ashes test at least. He's had an incredible career but they are carrying him at the moment.

In this Test England has had the better of the bowling conditions too

This is what i was saying a day or two ago - this isn't two evenly matched sides. Aus are better.

Nasser Hussein said they were just a couple of days ago but he was sitting next to Ricky Ponting and probably thinking he was as good as him back in the day.

Yeah fair enough and I am a fan of his to be honest. Atherton too. In fact all the ex players interviewed are pretty good value to be honest.

A pretty good summation on the Starc catch from Ponting and Strauss. Not sure if it clears it up but some good reasoning all round.

Wow. That's a big call.
I mean, starc's catch last night was overruled based on the laws. So I guess ... Wow
Shouldn't be controversial at all. As Athens just said, nothing to complain about at all - it was just a dozy bit of play from Bairstow.
