@Dan54 who the fuck said anyone is sooking? The only one we know is sooking is Foster, because he had a wee cry about it on the telly. We have no idea what players didn't answer, ring back or what reasons there are. Or have I missed something?
Read the post I answered to, Da Grubster says the players need space, and it's there way of dealing with it. And I never did or never would say they were sooking, and show me whare I said it. But I would suggest anyone who is current AB knows if they have a missed call etc from coach you ring or message back to discuss what is best to do.

A relatively well-connected source indicated that Weber’s kicking game is thought to be his Achilles heel, which is more than plausible, although I happen to be of the school that would be quite happy for a halfback to barely kick at all.
I don't have an issue with that as a reason if the Ginga was actually in any sort of form.
-
I think the coaches will be wanting Smith and TJP as our halfbacks for the RWC, with the possibility that Roigard could take the bench spot ahead of TJP. Weber and Christie are much of a muchness for me, and I think we are probably cooked if either of them are starting a knockout game anyway.

Weber's kicking problems v Ginga's passing problems. Not much of a competition for me.

Would be great if Roigard can take the step up and bridge the huge gap between Nugget & Christie/Weber.

Isn't Christie seen as a good defensive player too. Not sure , but if Weber's kicking game is seen as a wealness, bit of a problem at test level. But I be honest, I maybe prefer Weber, but not enough to really get worried. Also hope that the players revert to international laws again.

@Dan54 how do you know it's just a missed call? How do you know that they even knew they were supposed to call him back?
Mate a missed call from the coach on weekend of team naming?? Ok.
It was definitely just a missed call? No VM or text message? Ok.

Weber's running and support play Vs Christie predictability (granted that could be coaching). No contest.

I can see why Stevenson misses out, it’s because he is competing with Jordan, DMac and Beauden for that fullback spot. And he’s behind Jordan and Telea for the right wing spot.
Yeah, we just know that Beauden will start at fullback.
On Stevenson, he has actually played more on the left wing than the right wing for the Chiefs, as he did against the Brumbies.
I don’t think they see SS as a left wing option though given the Clarke and Fainga’anuku selections.

Just as well kicking isn't an important skill for our fullbacks. Oh wait...

Hasn’t been much chatter about it but it’s great to see Lord back in the AB squad. Kid has plenty of talent.
If Tuipoluto had been fit I wonder what would’ve happened with the selections. When Lord was originally selected for the ABs and got injured was that when Tuipoluto came back in?
-
Clearly if it was just a missed call on the weekend of selection, they would have called him back.
Forster mentions texts, leaving messages, which intimates that he gave them the news even if they didn’t speak.
Foster with his hurt feelings is the one that needs cuddling. The other guys were probably too busy with their agents to manage a call back to thank Foster.

@ACT-Crusader yeah was happy to see that, but as some buzz killer pointed out about Finau, it's probably highly likely he won't see much, if any gametime. He looks to have bulked up well, yet still mobile and busy. As long as that hasn't caused him other issues that lead to him being injured all the time, he looks the goods.
Hope I'm wrong about Fozzie.
