Who was the Blues fan questioning Ardie’s work rate against the Brumbies last week?
Well I wouldn’t even have Ioane and Sotutu anywhere near the All Blacks. They’ve been absolutely hopeless when it’s mattered (two years running).
R Ioane and Telea have potentially played themselves out of starting roles tonight. They’ve been aweful.
LOL What a shit take. Akira has been huge and Rieko has been carving up. Even Talea can't conjure magic every time he gets shit ball.
This is the exact type of performance from Akira and Hosking that show me they are not international standard.. they go missing far too regulalry when it gets tough.. certainly not starters anyway.

Only Blues who haven't damaged their AB chances are Sullivan, Paps & poss. Telea.
Sullivan had kicks charged down and missed bad tackles to let in a try.

Sotutu, yes. Akira has been tackling and carrying despite the Blues shape. Hoskins was invisible.
Crusaders loose forwards are having a free time of it because of the effort of their tight five and better shape.

What has Paps done to be protected? Caught a couple of cross field kicks?
- And no I'm not saying drop Paps, just don't think he's been that good in this match, like most players. I also don't think this one game should be the decider for any of them.

Think he had some good moments though - which other didn't

I personally think Ardie should be a specialist AB bench player where I think he could be so influential 2nd half and have a traditional 8 like Jacobson or Grace starting.
I used to think that but Ardie’s engine and test experience is pretty invaluable for us right now. We need him on the field for as long as possible.
FABFB scores 😎
-
@KiwiMurph fair play, I just can’t see that happening though with the WC so close and Ardie probably being our best over the year last year.
I do get what you’re saying though, the balance of our loosies just doesn’t work does it.

Is this the worst Blues performance of all time?
We’ve put 50 on the Blues at least once before.

He has a big engine because he leans on rucks.

They almost lost to MP

And Plummer...

Turnovers at key moments as well.
Maybe not great, but not utter shite like many other Blues AB's.
I don't think Paps has been any better than the much maligned Ioane bros. Granted, better than Barrett, Christie and the two fatties in the front row though.

Best kick all night by the Blues, by Eklund

@Tim said in SF: Crusaders (Good) v Blues (Evil):
Crusaders find gaps at will in Blues backline. The defence has been completely out smarted
Crusaders have just been running simple dummy lines and the blues have bought it every time, often several players in one movement.
Really bizarre.

Could be a good combo if Barrett can start throwing to the lineout...

How does the TMO not know that should be a penalty instead of gifting the lineout throw to the Crusaders? You can't go pushing players.
