Ripped for Raro 2016

MN5 - it's sun smart to have a beard, natural sun screen from those harsh UVs.

Takes buggar all extra time to shampoo the beard.
-

With my Celtic complexion I really must pay heed to that comment TR. Will tell the other half quicksmart.
-

100kg on the dot this morning. Rather pleased with that as it's all come off the middle and not the chest or arms by the looks of things. At 105kg I wasn't hugely overweight for my height of 190cm ( this is a genuine measured at Police College height, not a Cane4life fantasy height, Paeks has met me, he will confirm this )

Really happy with how things have gone and only missing the piss every now and again. Workouts consist of doing at least something every single day....hill walks and burpees for fitness, dips, chins, pull ups, explosive plyometrics etc are taking care of the rest at the moment although the bar in the garage is loaded with about 150kg so is demanding that I rip out a few deadlifts everytime I walk past so will see if the magic is still there.

I'm also making sure I get heaps of sleep and I think that is really helping me, I wake up and have a coffee but that's just out of habit rather than actually feeling like I need it.
-

You know that if you drop to double digits you cease to exist aye!!

Jokes aside good work on the weight loss bro - you are tracking really well and once your body gets used to no alcohol things speed up.

I would have placed you at 189.9cm but will defer to Police measurements!
-

If I got Canes4Life to measure me I'd hit 195cm. Easy.

Todays workout consisted of helping the removal guys with couches, washing machines, tables etc up some fucken nasty paths at my place. I was paying by the hour so even though they said "naaa bro it's cool" I wanted to help to a ) save money cos I'm Scottish and b ) get a bit of HIIT training. Doing that shit all day would get ya in decent shape that's for sure.
-

ha you can imagine C4L...it is 8 inches!

-

Fuck it sucks not being absolutely awesome at everything.

Tonight's Pies and Lattes class actually hurt my abs ( or where my abs should be ) and I'm sure that was on account of some of the awkward lifting of shit I had to do today. Something definitely twinged a bit but luckily the evil instructor took pity on her poor better half and we stretched out and changed exercises, no way I could bail out on the one I was doing especially not with 20 odd women and a few blokes, the pain occurred when I was rolled up but luckily stretched out right after and things eased.

I'm gonna get roped into doing this shit on the beach over in raro too, thank god I don't know anyone there.
-

I'm sure your downward doggy style into saluting chocolate starfish to the sun are top notch bro!

Reckon that pies and lattes (love that btw) will do you no end of good long term. My mate has been doing a yoga class once a week, bit earlier to see improvements though. Then again he's a flexible bastard already - but it'll def help his core.

Meh, not being 100% all round awesome just gives you stuff to work on... and since you do that awesomely you are actually awesome all the time! too easy skux
-

Have you been hanging with Ma'a, Victor and the Saveas again ?
-

I listen to Darcy and he has Nathan Fien on pretty regularly. That's his piss take line for Darcy.

-

What music does the sound play?

I listen to RS (in car) and The Rock (at work) although some of the afternoon shit on the rock is tiresome.
-

Slightly older Rock like Doobs, Doors, Deep Purple etc ( that;s just the Ds )

I love it when the Rock plays all the 90s/00s shit that was good, FNM, Chillis, Rage, Metallica, STP and all of them but I find they play just as much newer rock which as an increasingly grumpy old man I can't stand.
-

I might have to have a listen to The SOund tomorrow, sounds good...

SOme of the new stuff is decent though
-

but at least we can educate our kids to what real music is, well at least my son likes RATM, RHCP, FNM etc, my daughter, shes a tougher nut to crack...

-

Yeah my boys like all of the above but also shit their Mum listens to like Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry ( well actually a couple of her songs are quite catchy and she obviously has other appealing qualities too )

Got some cheap as chips Whey protein too so will hammer some of that down on a regular basis and take a one way trip to Gainsville. The potential for a bit of extra muscle is good.
-

Had to meet a client at the pub yesterday, surprisingly easy paying for a couple of beers for him and only having a couple of Diet Sprites myself. Either the Whey is kicking in or the beer fumes did something cos latest weigh in I'm 100.5kg. Anyone ( by anyone I mean Paeks and JK ) got any feedback on Whey ? it dissolves really easily, no annoying lumpy bits like other protein.

-

No idea sorry...

People just watch me lift, then they watch me weigh whey. Ahem, I'll get my coat.

ha ha I have NO problem bulking so my attention is always on how to cut.

Will await JK's entrance for some legit broscience to get dropped on us :good1:
-

Having read the side of the packet it looks like it will build muscle while at the same time cutting fat which is what we all want.

I remember getting some stuff from my mates who's shop has moved to P town and getting some sachets that had protein but also a RIDICULOUS amount of Carbs. My mate who cycles about 200km a week is all over that stuff but for a more sedentary and hefty fellow it wasn't good for me.....

Forgot to mention, LOADS of ( unweighted ) chins and dips over the weekend at the park. Too much if the DOMS is anything to go by, Pie Lattes will be tough tomorrow if I can't find any Deep Heat before then.
