@Kirwan can't find a clip of it sorry. Was late in the first half though I think.
To be fair he was definitely going in low and I think you could justifiably argue it down to penalty only.
But you'd need to have a look first to do that.

@KiwiMurph I think Makalio was pretty reckless going in with no arms but he was super low. Frizell then went in shoulder first right on top of Vest' head. Was surprised at the time that Frizell didn't cop a yellow. Could have argued one for Makalio too. It happened at 29.21 in the first half but can't find it in any replay.

@KiwiMurph that's an unfortunate accident.

@KiwiMurph yeah, both tacklers bent right over going low…ball carrier just doing the same

Will be very happy if the Poms continue to ignore Freddy ...
He's 33 mate, he made England when he was in his prime.
Yeah. But he's way better than Smith
The bulk of the evidence from this year would make that claim dubious.

Yep he it wasn't Frizzel that did tackle, was Makilio and Vest seemed to actually fall into Frizell , but I will be happy if he cited and it looked at I am proven wrong.

So Reds have lodged a formal complaint for the following:
- Failure to cite the tackle after the match (pretty debatable - could easily argue it didn't meet the red card threshold)
- They rushed Connor Vest off the field despite a neck injury being signalled.
Given every fluffybunny and his dog knows you don't move a person with a neck injury the second is pretty fucked.

Its the second point that's the serious one for me... If neck injury was signaled then everything should stop... No ifs, buts etc

I don't know where this rumour comes from (media?), but procedurally this is wrong. It's not only the Citing Commissioner who can bring a case before the judiciairy (or a red card). The team managements involved can submit a case as well. So if the Reds have "complained", it's not likely to be about a failure to cite, but about the tackle itself. Unless the Reds don't know the procedural rules.

This again sounds very much like someone's interpretation of what they saw on the field, without really knowing what was said by all involved (ref, team doctor, game doctor, player). Not saying it didn't happen this way, because Pickerill isn't a good ref, but I do have some doubts about this. By the way, I know you're just the messenger, so these comments aren't aimed at you, @Derpus.
