My Sunday eating was fucked up:
Breakfast: Bacon and eggs, hash browns, vegetable cakes (I think), beans and large mocha.
Lunch: A carrot.
Rugby: crack (grainwaves), doritos, nuts, Brickfields bread, marble cake.
Dinner: Malaysian - wot tan hor, fried chicken, roti with beef rendang, pork belly with rice.
After dinner: Peanut M&Ms.I just lay in bed last night cursing myself.
What was the bad part? It was Sunday! You're allowed to have fun on the weekends!
It was all good, but all bad, my body is no longer equiped to eat that amount of food.
Well I wish I was at your place/restaurant for dinner as that sounded fantastic
The restaurant is a little place with two tables on Parramatta road at the junction of four suburbs. It's decent but not the best Malay in Sydney (Wellington has better Malay on average than Sydney in my opinion).
Also, from the sounds of it you would have been too pissed to enjoy it by dinner time.
That's fair! I manged to over cook a rack of short ribs. That were OK but usually they are impossible to muck up

Forgot jelly! Can smash tons on that stuff.
The Weight Watchers version means I can hammer it without guilt but God knows what they put into that stuff.

We have no shortage of good spots and it's so good for a cheap and cheerful option. Other half and I basically do turn about for meals out. Always good when you get the Malay option ( Scottish roots coming out ), $50 and you're sorted as opposed to three figures for basically anywhere else.

@nzzp looking at the Teams meeting video, no lammingtons on the table...
Are Lammingtons that much tastier than Lamingtons? Has an extra m(mm)...
"Lamingtons on the table?" should be point 1 on every agenda. -

I'm not a cake person at all, but Lamingtons are surely kiddie food. Sponge cake dipped in chocolate rolled in desiccated coconut.
At a morning tea, my weakness is always

Fark yes!!! Them and parties pies, I could get through a mountain of each
-
@taniwharugby If it's any consolation this thread prompted me to go and buy - and scoff - two sausage rolls.

100%! I get really annoyed at work if someone gets catering and they've tried to get something fancy instead of a selection of sausage rolls, party pies and those little quiches. They're also convenient in that I can load up a plate of them and take them back to my desk with minimal interaction with other people in the office.
Are you a cheerio slut as well? Cheerios with tomato sauce, or cocktail franks are the shizz

So covid has become a non issue so this thread has become the food channel. Coffee and cream buns.
Little and Friday in Auckland makes the best donuts.
Berry compote instead of jam, about the size of a small baby's head (well maybe not that large)
