Good to see that Sullivan is back from injury!

Totally forgot that Dom Bird hasn't played for the Canes, yet; it seems like he's been there for ages.

Loose forward battle still looks fun

Gamble is one of the best loosies in SR over the last couple of years, Gleeson has had some great moments. Hooper has been below his usual standards but is class

Caleb Delany looked to be holding his shoulder when he was shaking hands with the Blues last week, hopefully not serious.

It would be good to get an update as to when some of the other players will be back.

Doubt it, he’s played in every game so far so deserves a rest.

Nah the real battle is between James Blackwell and Ned Hanigan, real locking giants of skill and power!

No Franks for a couple of weeks now. I think he should be in the 23 at least for his scrumaging alone.

Rayasi straight dropped. I thought he was pretty poor against the Blues but I don't really like how Holland takes the axe to him every time he has a bad game. Seems counter productive to me. Let him know you trust him and give him another go.

Smart move for Tahs to put Donaldson at 10. He's better there.

Excited to see Jorgensen at 15 - he looks every bit a future star even if he's still a year or 2 away.

2023 Nadolo makes 2023 Julian Savea look like prime Jonah.....

Good to see Kini Naholo get a run - hopefully injury free.

It's a conventional speech : "They are a quality side, they are pretty physical up front" and so on. This is what every coach says of the opposing team before a game. I have never heard "They are a pretty poor side, we are going roll over them".
More seriously, I wonder about the workload Tyrell Lomax is being asked to handle. He was replaced at the 70th minute against the Blues, which is quite late for a THP. The coaching team does not seem to trust Tosi a lot, though the latter did well against Hodgman in terms of scrummaging, and brought a lot of power in the rucks.
When Mafileo is back from suspension ? He could be used as a THP when Lomax is to be rested as it is his position for the Steamers and as the Canes have quality LHPs at their disposal (PRS and Numia).

The Canes 9-10 combo looks promising.

And looking forward to seeing Kini get his first start, Sinkinson is another wing option that isn't listed as unavailable so hope he gets some game time soon.

Also hope the coaches haven't given up on Lakai as a 7.

I missed the build-up. Is it - except for kids' round - also club round? Players wearing club socks?
