Bid deal. Tempers were raised and ardie expressed regret afterwards. Much worse is actual physical damage.
Seemed a harsh yellow too

I've never seen Ardie get that mad before. I wonder that really happened?

@Winger IMO, it was a deserved team yellow. The Rebels should have gotten one, too.
I haven't seen the full match. But seemed completely over the top from this clip

It was entirely preventable. Why would the captain throw someone out of the scuffle - all it did was escalate the situation.
As for the throat-slitting gesture - it seems like the type of thing in US sport that would be dealt with via a fine not a suspension. However, since that isn't really an option here - I would expect him to be suspended as SANZAAR won't want to be seen to be doing nothing.

I’m guessing he mentioned something about John Farnham wanting his haircut back and it escalated from there

Johnny or even your average 80s WWF wrestler would be very at home with that do

Hopefully the hearing asks what blue 10 was even doing where he was for Ardie to pull him out of it. If anyone escalated the situation it was him. Comes from 20 metres away to push his way through a melee and get over the top of players on the ground.
He is the aggressor here and gets rightly pull out before doing something even stupider than he already has.
Refs first line of thought should have been to see who was mixed in there that shouldn’t have been. -

It’s always a problem when the ref calls in the ARs and before asking them what their view was says “I see this. Do you agree?” They never contradict.
