@mikedogz Oh, don't remember that. Still, that's ages ago. I'd still much prefer them to be there, but expect the USA to qualify.
Think we hit the ton v Portugeezers, but more noteworthy was Carl Hayman winning a lineout.

They sung their national anthem with a lot of passion too!

That Kenyan 0-85.
Kenya down to 14 men. A guy got 2 yellows. Second was rightly for a head contact, and they looked for mitigation to get it to yellow, so no complaints.
The first was for 'cynical play', not being back 10m to a kick penalty tap 80 to 90m from his own goal line.
Whatever happened to marching them back 10?
I have a bee-in-my-bonnet about quick taps not taken from the mark, as have said before on here. This tap also wasn't from where the mark should be, but not as outrageously so as those I would usually complain about. Only about a meter to the side of the mark. But he caught a defender only about 3m back, if he had taken it from the mark he probably would have caught a defender about 7m back. Would that have changed 'cynical play' back into a simple march them 10?
Probably turned a 10-65 ish game into a 0-85. So, not a scandal. Just another annoying example of letting attackers cynically break rules but carding defenders for cynically breaking rules. Get yourself out of the game refs. Thinking that being lax on applying 'the mark' rules lets a game flow, it certainly does flow (one way) when that decision compounds to 14 men for 40 minutes.

Love to go to Fra for this Cup, would be awesome.
I went to the 2007 RWC, and it wasn't cheap back then despite being able to base myself in Italy when not travelling around Europe between games.
USA next, right, where after that?
Australia in 2027, then USA.

Ah cool, don't fancy USA anywhere as much as france, but at least it'll be cheap as RWC won't make a dent on most places accom etc

The ABs will be based in Lyon.

gee is that Aix-les-Bain? Healing waters and all that. Looks pretty sweet for Namibia (which evokes Mad Max: Fury road images for me by comparision).

I like that England has been located for a quick exit. From Lille they could finish a game, hop on the bus and be back home licking their wounds quite quickly.
Lille whites huh? I sense a sponsorship opportunity https://www.lillywhites.com/
