Well spoken by English captain 👏
Demant spoke well too.
A bit dusty in here, listening to that.

Hunter put in a huge shift. A couple of poor tactical decisions but it was clear that both sides were feeling the pressure and fair enough it’s a RWC final.
They should’ve ran a couple of plays for their fullback, changed the point of attack - she’s got real wheels.

Fair play, the English captain is a better-looking Winston Churchill.
Young Winston or WW2 era?
In terms of speaking, quite a rousing speaker. So probably early WWII.

Might have been more comfortable for the Black Ferns had they made their conversions. How many points did they leave out there?

Demant POTM? Really? Did Black 13 have to leave early or something?
13 for me as well, that try from her dummy was out of this world.
(I couldn't spell her surname. "Fluhler" )

4 or 5 missed kicks?

Just didn't have the range. From the tee or hand

Just remember "Mein" in front and the rest will flow.

I must admit to yelling at the screen when they took the tap instead of kicking for touch and milking the clock. That choice almost cost them the game.
Running it up to close to the ruck almost cost us too. Should have gone wide

They do need to look at mauls. Don't mind a contrast of styles at all but a maul every 5 minutes? Also seems an adjudicational lottery to me and not a fair contest of the ball.
Yep I agree.
The issue isn't the idea of the mauls, its that the laws need tweaking/better enforcement.
The movement to the side where the mall spins, the players break their bind and change the point of attack is the one they should stop.

The ref helped the poms with their mauls. If we can combat it they will have to think of something else to do. England are so limited. Run it up a couple of times and kick it back to us
They haven’t always been so forward dominant in their play, it’s just that in the last couple of years it has been so damn successful.

That, but the whole of this RWC the refs were consistently ignoring the obstruction; the receiver continually landed and passed it straight back to the ripper prior to defensive contact. I cannot think of one maul formation from the lineout that I would have adjuged legal.

Range wasn't the problem. Direction was.
