Do you really need me to elaborate on what I mean about being allowed to kick directly to touch from a free kick?
Do I really need to be completely literal? You are allowed to kick directly to touch, just as you are allowed to knockdown. I really thought you of all people would understand this concept?

Yep. So let me rephrase.
You should be allowed to kick directly out on the full and have the lineout at the point where the ball xrosses the touchline. Would ve happy with that amendment to the laws.
What's up with you tonight? You're usually funny...

Just watched this. Poor first 60 minutes from Auckland front rowers really set the scene. Vikena lacks finesse. Great effort from Harry Plummer and Patty T to keep them in it after halftime. Don't understand why Peita did not start - as the loosies were not a good unit.
A lot of the Wellington players are really flourishing. Thought JGB, Love and Blackwell were great throughout. Poor Kirifi must curse his handling, but had a busy match. I like what I see in Higgins! TJP was on fire. Aumua needs to work on his lineout work to get back in top ABs but his general play is great.
An enjoyable watch.

@booboo it would be a decent change and one that would encourage less resets of scrums after free kicks...as I said earlier, I'd like a change to only allow one reset, after which the free kick must be taken, hate watching teams pack down scrums playing for penalties, or PT and YC if in opposition 22.

What useless ending to a poor season. Completely and utterly outplayed by Welly and I hope they haven't played their final. I'm rooting for them this week that they get up against Canterbury.
Are we rid of Ieremia for 2023?
