Great example why it was correct to call Straya for time wasting.

What the? Why not play on?

Yeah, seemed a bit rough, also what a fucking dumb play by Canterbury, risky when all they needed was to take the ball and put it out. A conspiracy theorist would arch an eyebrow at that.

Who is playing 10 for Canterbury now Burke is off?

Poihipi was. He was a 1st 5/2nd 5 at school.

Otago had their chances at the end.

The loose forward mix for the AB XV will be interesting.

Me and you both Kiwi, with the Naki out,I am in same boat. Still I love this comp so much I can just enjoy and pick a team on the day!
I have to say this game we just had was a lot of fun to watch, love seeing all these young buggers coming through!

Yeah he's a real point of difference, although I guess you could say he's a bit Ardie like. Seems like a throwback 7, although I guess like Ardie we're going to see more of him elsewhere, just to fit others (Lentjes, MMT).

Phew, I can breathe again. Commiserations, Otago fans. It was close.

Happy Magpies fan here, obviously, but full credit to Otago for that big effort.

What the hell was Bell thinking? Unbelievable stupidity. Trying to get his brother into the semis?

Hard watch for Hawkes Bay fans. But great effort by Otago.

Geez Harmon is good (and Holland looks very useful.) Must be in NZ XV as a 7. Nareki and Gilbert always a threat out the back. Canterbury half was too slow to get ball cleared in first half and Fihaki needs to work on ball security. Kept Otago in it.

Bryn Gatland is miles ahead of Josh Ioane for NZ XV.

Was called by Darry he was calling the line outs when Romano went off.
He can’t very well throw it somewhere else if the shot calller callls that.

@ARHS Was that Nareki's first game back? He had some good touches, loved the kick that lead to the try.
