We really let the Wallabies back in. The loose game suited your team. Valetini played well I thought.
I think your error rate was unacceptable - that wasn't the loose game, that was just shit execution. Don't think Foster can take all the heat for that... and the good news is he doesn't have to! He's Coach-For-Life now
We're fully responsible for losing that game.

Nah I’m sorry but that’s fucked. First and only time I’ve ever seen that call, and it’s in the 79th minute of a Bledisloe. Just absolute horse shit.
Take the win NZ. But it’s hardly a famous victory.
What was the ref supposed to do? Just wait for the hooter for the next minute?
Player has to take responsibility.
Blow time off. That’s what he does, and it’s what every ref has done in that situation.
Or just let Foley kick the ball three seconds later and not make the game about him.
But he made a call I’ve literally never seen before. On the back of an incredibly dubious penalty for sealing off.

Genuine question. Are we now actively trying to throw this game?
I’ve got a $50 on the Aussies, just saying
You're the curse
Thank you for paying $50 for the win, we needed it.
Took one for the team.

@barbarian McCaw won that ball fair and square against the Waratahs too 😀
Not sure what was shown on the TV, but there were plenty of Wallabies players who sensed if he didn’t kick it something would happen. He was taking an absolute age.
You could see it in the TV. Arm waving and yelling. That’s probably what helped the ref make his decision.

I'm sorry but why are they celebrating??? They had ample opportunity to put that game away with all the YCs, fucked endless opportunities to score, showed complete lack of aptitude in defense and got a unicorn at the end to win. I feel dirty and the ABs again, are complete shit.
FFS bro, they just won a close game, they're fucking human, allow them to celebrate.
They every opportunity to win that convincingly and needed a unicorn at the end. But I guess this is the new normal. Foster's Fuckups.
Give it away.
Go watch a nil all soccer game.
Fuck we won. Celebrate. We can be better.
But have a beer. Smile and enjoy the Bled for 11 years ...
Got nothing to with high scoring entertaining games. Point well missed. Enjoy a sour.

To be fair it will be a famous victory. Not for the right reasons though.
Although your coverage saying it was the wrong call won't help. It wasn't the wrong call. It was just a very odd, rare one. Made at a pivotal time.
The right reasons. They outstupided us.

Fuck. Just realised I spend my post Test Sunday morning lying in bed dealing in PMA and reading the TSF match thread.
Got to work tomorrow...
I'll be starting at 8, not finished until midnight ish. So as @Bones boringly repeated, I should go to bed.
But my merlot is not finished.

Oh well. Next time Oz won't mess around. Nobody to blame but themselves for giving the ref the opportunity to blow his whistle.

He blew time off, warned him, put time on and told him to play. Then he impersonated a statue.
Ref was correct.

Not sure I want to agree with your post (apart from the correct call on our crap execution, Samisoni excepted).

What would you prefer they did? Stab themselves?
After that, yes.
How can you down vote?

I am still not quite sure why we subbed Samisoni when we did. I think he had another 5-10 minutes in him.
Our backup hookers are a real concern.
Disagree. Coles was fine, did his job. Unlike samisoni he wasn't fucking mega awesome, but neither was any other player on the pitch. It's not like he shat the bed like Taylor

I too think he was an ok sub in last two games (but not game before those)..

Hate to say it but I think we missed Cane.

Or maybe the refs are being instructed to stop coaching players on the pitch and blow the game based on the players' actions? Oz lost that game at the end, after all the hard work to claw it back. I think deep down, that's the thing that is irking you. Not the ref.

@His-Bobness said in Bledisloe 1:
The issues are lack of composure, fading concentration and poor structure on defence. Mentally, they are still not there. We continue to see lousy choices on attack, poor positioning on defence and lapses of discipline at key moments. Again, we see their capacity to momentarily look comfortable and in control and then drop their focus like a ADHD teen skipping his ritalin. And all this against a Wallaby team thrown together at the last minute. Something is wrong.
Just so many players make poor decisions - defence, attacking from 22, passing. We are often beaten physically at breakdown. We have a poor long kicking game.

Then your boy cheated just a little too much.
