If the pattern of the rest of this RC continues, the All Blacks lose the first of the two-game series against a single opposition and win the second.
Of course, that could always break the mold. Let's just hope though that that equates to winning both, not losing two in a row. The disruption to the now established back row of Frizzel, Savea and Cane is a worry, but Sotutu is overdue a run at 8. Let's just hope he's not under-cooked. Perhaps they'll start Scott Barrett at 6 and have two loosies on the bench in Akira and Jacobsen?

Pick all three Barretts in the back row. Won't make a lick of difference.
You are trying to claim this underdog status hard, my man.
I don't need to put in any effort, really. It is apparently for all to see.

you beat the Rugby World Cup Champions. They only let us win once so we'd keep Foster on. We then tussled with the Argies for 1 out of 2 and let them break the record. We are definitely underdogs.

If the pattern of the rest of this RC continues, the All Blacks lose the first of the two-game series against a single opposition and win the second. Interestingly, for the other three teams that pattern is reversed - the Wallabies won their first against Argentina and lost their second, the Boks won their first against the Wallabies and lost their second and, of course, the Pumas beat the ABs first up and then capitulated in the second.

As home team goes.
Oz W,L
SA W,L
ARG L,W
NZ L,WSo with the final round being home and away and each being 'first game' we get
NZ L, L
Oz W, W
SA W, W
ARG L, LDef need to break the mould.

Waaaait a miiiinute... what am I not getting here? Even if that were true (you might wanna revisit the bold) it still requires one team winning then losing, so flip it on it's head and it's the same pattern...have I been whooshed?

@Crucial Well there’s some incentive if we needed any! I do feel sorry for the Aussies with their run of injuries and absences. Kerevi, Hooper, Cooper, Tupou (maybe), Lolesio (maybe) and Paisami (maybe) all leave a big hole. Although, we’re also without Moody, ALB, Goodhue, Frizzel and Savea - so it’s not as if we’re at full strength either.

@Bones Yes you’ve been wooshed and I got carried away after a third G’n’T. Apologies, have corrected.
Quitter.

@NTA agreed. We have no chance. Be lucky if we can field 23 professional players at this rate.
Piss off. You're red hot favourites.
I'd take Valetini & Koroimbete in a heart beat. That's like 2 x infinity% more than Fitzy would have taken in 2003 ....

@nzzp cant talk about being tall and not mention Jordie....we are determined to keep him starting
Hayman, the height and weight ratio, plus the beard, what else do you really want in a number 8?

Ennor and Laulala? Foster is having a laugh.
Would have been a good time to test out a few new players. -

Would have been a good time to test out a few new players.I don’t think it is. Can’t see either of them featuring unless Ioane gets injured and Lomax and Newell get injured.

they need a spare 13 but Ennor hasn't impressed.
As to Laulala, Ryan mentioned other props and said you can never have enough tight forwards...they know what Nepo can do. -

I'd like to see Skipper and Scooter start with Hoskins at 8. In theory, that could allow Jacobson/Paps to come on at 55/60ish for Cane and Akira there for Hoskins, or to move to 6 if a starting lock went down.

@His-Bobness Not THAT sorry, I hope!
