Isn't he sharing the attack with Foster or is Schmidt and Schmidt alone the attack coach?
I think one test isn't enough to judge him. But I feel now like it can't just be the coaching, we don't quite have the onfield strategy, fitness, and skills advantage either (that we used to have).Our 'fitness' has been nullified somewhat by the number of breaks creaping into the game. I suspect we still have the fitness to outrun most teams but we are not being allowed to do it. Is it time we changed our 'fitness' to producing muscle bound monsters like other teams? If we can't beat them maybe we should join them.
im not even sure all our players are that much fitter than their opposition, in the past yes, no one could keep up...but currently im not sure
Our skills used to be better, particularly when fatigued. Now they struggle even when we're fresh

Players don't lose skills they lose confidence.

I remembered that when he got the job, and it gave me hope that our attack would be very different to irelands under hiis coaching , and the blues looked different to Ireland

He must have learnt that after he tried to make Carlos play a Tasesa Lavea style the year after the Carlos style won the Blues a Super comp.

Looking at Ireland under him, and last Saturdays attack.
I hate we reverted back to a super flat backline after Ellis park standing deeper seemed to work. -
wonder if Brodie will get a start or come off the bench? I expect he will get a spot in the 23 over Vaai, and wonder if it alters the bench given they could then move SB to 6?
I dont think bringing him straight into the 23 would be the right call, but expect they will.

Gotta say I've been really confused by the number of people on here who think Barrett is some sort of solution at 6. Putting him there lost us the world cup, and I just haven't seen anything that suggests it has become a good idea. Insisting on a lightweight 8 isn't going to be fixed by playing a lock at 6.

@reprobate I didnt suggest he was the solution, I do however think Fozzie thinks it is a good option.

@taniwharugby yeah not pointing at you bro, but before retallick was injured i think there were a few suggesting it. weirds me out every time i hear it as any sort of an option that's not injury cover during a game.

We are running SB & SW into the ground, and if they are gonna make the RWC, we need some people to take some decent minutes.

Agreed. We no longer have the luxury of getting on top of an opposition in either a game or series to give new players serious game time.
I think right now, giving these guys experience is a priority.

Yep. SB looks to be developing well at lock and his last few games have been relatively good. Use him there and as an option to cover 6.

Muliaina went from doing a segment fellating Cane after Ellis park and now is calling for Papalii.
The whole country seems to have been castrated.
They don't even seem annoyed about it.
The legacy that was established by men (most of whom are no longer with us) is being shat all over by this current crop.
You never get those records back. They are gone.

I didn't know what Fletcher Newell looked like 3 weeks ago and he is already bordering on undroppable.
Get them in for fuck sake.
Plenty of the current crop have had too many chances.
Fakatava needs a start and to be left out there for minimum 60 minutes. Same with Vaii, Papalii, Sotutu for a start.
I have no idea why an Umaga Jensen brother is not in the squad.
