This ill-discipline is hurting us

I have to say I think the referee could have just waved that on. No impact on the play at all. Technically he could have gotten Matera for leaving the lineout like that.
Can't believe that lineout was play on lol, it was a shambles

Pretty sure this same ref blew a million penalties in a test earlier this year too.

We're not playing to the ref well, so it feels like we're getting screwed. We need to be a lot smarter at adapting to the refs to get them onside as that will hurt us against better sides when it really matters.

Along with the "no huddles" ref should blow up for the time taken to kick

I know "yous" sounds appalling but English is dumb not to have a word for second person plural.
(technically it does: "you" but the second person singular "thou" went out 200 years ago and never got replaced).

Exactly...
Was good to see cane actually ask the ref a question though -

Could hurt us in this game.

Yeah we're only 3 points up.
Having said that, this feels like a typical game against the Pumas. Takes us a while to break them down. I am quite happy at half time to be fair.

Glad we are keeping Foster the progression from Ellis park is obvious.
The funny thing is, if sauces are correct, and the job was going to razor but they changed their mind cos of one win. I guess a major reason they changed their mind cos they were worried about public backlash after victory. But all the polls, not scientific but indicative, pointed to around 80% saying he should be sacked. NZR are so dumb.
This performance is better than most this year, but not much. Really we're seeing the effect of some improved assistant coaches. Imagine how much better a total clean out would be.
We'll win this, but the bled is very much under threat, as is our Eden park record

They were worried about player backlash, not public backlash.

When have we ever blown the Pumas away in the first half? I cannot ever recall ever dominating them from the get go. They always take a while to break down.
Remember RWC 2011 and 2015.
This is just a typical game so far.

To me its still evident he should have gotten the tin tack. I have no confidence in the project.
