That is just so funny and so unobservant. Savea is quite obviously the heir apparent with full support from those around him. The players talk of him, Cane and Whitelock as their leaders and Whitelock seems quite happy to not take the on field arm-band.

Has that ability to increase the energy even after playing his guts out for 60 minutes.I have a few issues with Ardie as the skipper but one of them is that he suffers from the same issue as Cane in that he’s not the best player in his position
I think he is playing in his best position. He's an abrasive, wide ranging, skillful ball playing number 8 in the mold of Zinzan Brooke and Kieran Read. I think he would be less effective at 7.

If Barrett had shown a glimpse of any of the positive stuff I saw from RM I wouldn't be so keen to stick with him.

When RM leads us to a spanking of Wales I'll probably give you a wink, but not because I'm a fan of his - I would prefer an in form Barrett or to see how Havili goes at 10.
