Fucking terrible. Wright and Petaia the quest out of a fairly ordinary back line, and some bizarre refereeing to boot
That not held call went both ways though, bizzarre as it was.
To be fair, the call would be easier to make if the ball carrier had to release the ball irrespective of being held. -

Is that their biggest loss in Argentina? Looks like Argentina might be a good challenge for us.
Biggest loss by a large margin. It was biggest loss before the last try
Rennie trying to out Foster, Foster.

Juan 'redcard' Imhoff and Wylie 'Coyote' Human are the wingers in my best names XV.

Maloney always sounds like someone at the pub commentating. OK for sevens, but not so much for tests.
It's a league thing isn't it? This 'manufactured excitement' by yelling out a name or word and lengthening it as long as possible.
Ar-gen-TIIIIIIIIII-NAAAAAAAAAA!
In close games or big moments it can work but when done continually it just doesn't seem 'rugby' to an old man like me.Always annoying when Petero Civinoceva got the ball.

I think we'll take our business elsewhere, but thanks for the offer...

Some very dubious reffing in favour of Argentina, but they were deserved winners

Good. You don't pay me enough.

Agree. We were immature and impatient.
But the refs will be having a couple of "oh shit" moments during their review. Overall I thought Dickson was decisive and fairly good.

What's with that Stan thing of four pundits standing around a big screen in the post match? Looks so awkward.
If you want something different to talking heads at a desk give them some furniture and the option of a bevvy Graeme Norton style and let the real opinions flow.

It's instructive to me how little I see Wallaby supporters discussing this result.

Pretty sure all the Wallabies supporters frequenting on this forum have.
But yeah out in public? Not much.

Quite interesting how the wallabies played like France, off the nine. Ten was rarely actually first receiver, 9 made all the play.
Doesn't seem too work as well as it did for France, tho!
I haven’t watched but why would you do that when JOC is 10? Like our mate Quadey from Tokoroa, JOC is a playmaker first and foremost. The type of 10 that is always looking to set someone through a hole or a wide gap and if it isn’t there put the ball into space.

Yeah it is a bit bizarre, it was mentioned in the Roar he took the ball as first receiver 3 times all game
