He did some very important things in terms of getting our backline going. Made some terrible errors too. But overall his intent in attack is what we needed tonight.

That so called “leg lift” against Whitelock was an unnecessary call too. Wasn’t even lifted and had zero effect. Could have been a turning point on the match.

Boks obviously told pre game by “technical” Pearce that contests for the high ball had to be genuine. WR would have been on edge that another BB incident would happen.
There weren’t bodies flying in at all angles around the catch area this weekTBF most or all of their reckless challenges last week were by the same player.
On the other wing the interference jumpers were bumping players away for their catcher.

Our forwards played well. Loved that we nullified Marx and other Bokkes from trying to get breakdown ball.
Different reffing might have helped that too. Also, maybe Marx only gets free reign on his 50th match?
