    Fantastic win

    Congratulations

But you won in spite of RM not because

If you think he’s the answer at 10 you’ve learned nothing

He did some very important things in terms of getting our backline going. Made some terrible errors too. But overall his intent in attack is what we needed tonight.

Yeah laughable to suggest what Mike said.

@Canes4life said it best when discussing JGB. I'd rather have rocks and diamonds than just rocks.

If Polllard had been playing for NZ it would have been a canter

What the fuck did Pollard do? Disappeared or passed it to Am? Yeah good one.

But passing it to Am a good tactic, no?

Pearce - shit scrum call aside - MOTM

    Best refereeing performance in ages

That so called “leg lift” against Whitelock was an unnecessary call too. Wasn’t even lifted and had zero effect. Could have been a turning point on the match.

Was that the one where we smashed on the 22 and they got the penalty?

Otherwise yeah, tough (and technical) but fair.

Really didn't have too much to whinge about.

that was won on Ryans improved maul defence and a shitload of pride from the boys.

Both flyhalfs completely shat the bed.

    Perspiration not inspiration.

He should still be sacked for dropping Samisoni against the Irish and his continuance of picking that midfield and back row.

Fletcher Newell , DeGroot and Samisoni are beasts

Yeah the young props were absolutely superb, and they'll only get better from here after that

Imagine taking a punt on guys in form over guys in the doldrums.

Agreed. That's how a game should be reffed. Like night and day compared to Gardiner last week.

Plus the following two leg lifts that I never saw evidence of.

Boks obviously told pre game by “technical” Pearce that contests for the high ball had to be genuine. WR would have been on edge that another BB incident would happen.
There weren’t bodies flying in at all angles around the catch area this week

TBF most or all of their reckless challenges last week were by the same player.

On the other wing the interference jumpers were bumping players away for their catcher.

Was really impressed with De Groot tonight. Bought some real steel to his game especially in defence and cleaning out.

Our forwards played well. Loved that we nullified Marx and other Bokkes from trying to get breakdown ball.

Different reffing might have helped that too. Also, maybe Marx only gets free reign on his 50th match?

Fozzie basically just thanked the Fern for helping him lose a kg. 🙂

We have Foster to thank for our two finds of the "year". Bower, de Groot and Moody is a tasty loosehead group for RWC.

Plus Newell and an improving Lomax on the TH.

there are plenty of diamonds in the rough who are not being given chances.

selection has not been ruthless enough since 2019.
