@Higgins I would have moved Love to 10 and started the better Garden-Bachop at 15.

It could happen if jgb has another poor game like almost every start this year in SRP. He might be on his last chance

@Duluth not sure why we are bothering with Jackson Garden-Bachop at 10. I assume Aiden Morgan picked up an injury against Bay of Plenty. Hopefully it's not a selection based off favouritism, because Morgan clearly proved he's already better than JGB during his minutes for the Canes this year.

Edit: just saw he's unavailable for selection.

After being hopeless for the Canes this year, JGB was better than OK when he replaced Morgan

Yes that drop kick at the end was genius. Lol.

Too many brain fades for a pro 10.

    A more readable format:

1 Daniel Lienert-Brown, 2 Brodie McAlister, 3 Owen Franks, 4 Sam Darry, 5 Zach Gallagher, 6 Billy Harmon, 7 Tom Christie, 8 Cullen Grace, 9 Mitchell Drummond, 10 Fergus Burke, 11 George Bridge, 12 Rameka Poihipi, 13 Dallas McLeod, 14 Manasa Mataele, 15 Chay Fihaki

Reserves: 16 George Bell, 17 Finlay Brewis, 18 Oli Jager, 19 Dominic Gardiner, 20 Corey Kellow, 21 Willi Heinz, 22 Alex Harford, 23 Will Gualter

That Canterbury pack will monster the Lions. Could be a long day at the office even if the backs have an edge. Which they probably don't when you factor in JGB.

@Toddy yeah, could be a long day at the office. If we can get some sort of parity the Lions can get over the line.

That Canterbury midfield makes me feel better.

    @Bones Sure is.

Referees around the world will look for ways to penalise anything if they can.

In response to Canterbury scoring a try from a guy over 5m offside.

    Yeah good one egg!

Aumua is playing really well around the field. Looks to have shed a bit of weight.

Bridge opens up a gap for himself but then dives to the ground. Come on man, surely you can back yourself at this level?

@Bones Under previous ABs coaches, they would have developed him into a regular in the ABs 23 by now.

Asafo Aumua has been everywhere in this game. Great start by him, hopefully he’s coming into some form.
