Foster, Robertson etc

Leon will come in soon . Then razor as an assistant once he gets over his knee surgery and joe Schmidt will be head coach. Then Joe Schmidt will step away and Razor will be head coach.

@taniwharugby couple of AB's, a few Harbour players and a host of Olympians used to be in my Pilates class. All us elite athletes together....

@chchfanatic Is that your prediction or have you heard more?

Dreams are free, paying out fat foster is not, sadly

Wrestling would be a fantastic training tool for rugby players. It’s more than just strength. It’s balance and knowing how to use your strength.
Not wrestling, but the teams sometimes do work with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gyms for the same reason. The Blues and Crusaders were the first I remember hearing about doing that.. maybe 15 years ago

@Dice I cant recall who it was (my grey memory says Craig Dowd or John Timu) did some Ballet training saying it was excellent for stability, strength and balance.
I think it was Inga

I hope Foster is fired pronto.

@Frank stuff article says he wants to win the RWC with NZ and another team....
-
@Machpants I dont know exact timeframe. How long does a new knee take to settle down. I’d say after the eoyt for changes and then Schmidt steps down after World Cup.

I was coming in to post my speculation that he would be brought in as an assistant or selector on the quid pro quo that he advances to the top job following next year's WC.

@taniwharugby I told the owner of the Studio that she should use me and Terenzo Bozzone in her point of sale
as a Before and After scenario. No prizes for guessing which I was

Interesting that Razor praised a few assistant coaches from overseas in his interview. That is another aspect, a lot of teams (not ABs) bring in assistant coaches from overseas. Even SA have done so in the past. Maybe NZ rugby is too insular at the moment. Having a back's coach like Ronan O'Gara or Catt or a defense coach from the NH could make a difference. At least bring in fresh ideas.

Stupid click bait headline, bombshell my arse. That's was what signed up for ages ago, long enough to compete for ABs spot post 23 RWC, with the option too stay another year. But really he said he was staying for that 2024+ post, and he'd go overseas if he didn't get it. Read what he actually said, herald are the worst click bait fluffybunnies ATM

Been an avid AB fan for years. Been so nervous at times with a close result, so proud of such a great team from a small country.
The current player talent available is pretty good.
This is the first time ever I don't care if we lose, in fact, it would be good if we did lose again.
Getting a couple of good assistants is probably going to prolong the never ending saga of mediocrity.
How can the national side not have the best management team that is available. Frustration.I honestly belief this team with a change in management could start firing consistently within a month
I found your views distasteful TBH. Personally, I'm not anti-Foster the man, but anti-his results. If the changes just made lead to well-constructed victories, I'll have no problem him continuing. If he wins, and wins well, he can stay. If we keep playing rubbish rugby, then he can go.
But that is different for me then saying I don't care, I hope we lose.
The only coach I couldn't stand in the end was John Mitchell, but Foster seems like a decent bloke.
