@Canes4life looks like a 13 to me too
I vaguely recall reading when he was at 12 the comment was it didn't suit him as well as at 13 but I didn't see the game, I just recall I like the way he runs-like a 13- and I liked the tiny promising cameo I saw of him in the ABs. Anyway, just 23, young for a centre.To whoever said Laumape wasn't good enough for the ABs I think he was in 15 tests and scored a match-winning try (was it against the Lions, the French XV) something like that. 15 test AB is not too shabby.

@Canes4life Yep, successive coaches have been making a mess of selections. It's been said many times before, but the broom really needs to go through the whole Canes' set-up, top to bottom.
Just like the ABs and the NZRFU, we are a clown show in the boardroom and in the coaches box

@gt12 if they play Iose at 7, they may aswell play him at 8. No point playing two players out of their best positions.
I think the best balanced trio for the Canes is 6. Howden 7. Savea 8. Flanders.
I'd like 6. Delany 7. Savea 8. Flanders with Iose on the bench, but I fear to see a combo of Prinsepp / Gibson / Savea.

I wonder if plum will come back to the Canes?
He may not have been a good ABs coach, but he was OK for hurricanes. And anybody is better than what's there at the moment

I hope not. The decline started when Boyd left.
Besides, they won't demote Holland. Don't think for a minute that Plumtree will join the Canes as Holland's assistant. -

Read somewhere that he is back in France now. The article said his family found it hard to settle in Paris so eh returned in the off season. Also his form wasn't great
Would be good but surprised if he returns. 29 now and the money overseas would be much better
